School of Rock believes the best way to learn music is to play music. They take students from the lesson room to the stage, developing both their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for all skill levels. Pedal To End Cancer - Thank You!

This has been a record-breaking year at Total Fitness Clubs - 85 participants raised over $58,000 for the American Cancer Society through this year's event! We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to all the participants who contributed to the success of this great cause. We're especially proud of Total Fitness Member, Andrea Alexander, who was the Top 'Pedal to End Cancer 2015' Fundraiser in all of New England, for raising $38,250!"

Total Fitness Pet Drive

Bristol Total Fitness is teaming up with Bristol Animal Shelter for a pet supplies drive. We will be collecting pet supplies, toys, blankets, etc. to donate to animals in need. There will be a box to put your pet items in, or it can be handed to the front desk.

Zumba Fitness Charity Event with Kerri Warner

Spring Fat Loss Fit Camp with Dave Parker

Join Dave for this 8-week program that will help you gain strength and lose body fat. Group training circuit workouts will include a variety of equipment such as: free weights, kettlebells, medicine balls and more. Personal nutritional coaching with weigh-ins and body fat testing at the beginning and end to measure strength as well as endurance gains. Dave will encourage you to push yourself! Know it won't be easy, but it will be worth it. (min. 3 max. 10 participants)

Tuff Conditioning with Adriana Ferns

This 8-week program is designed to prepare participants for obstacle races. Adriana's workouts will consist of running with body weight exercises including plyometrics, agility and basic strength. Do you enjoy intense workouts, the camaraderie of group training or are you trying to get off a plateau? This is the workout for you! All ages and fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 10 participants)

Mix It Up with Dawn Casella

Break out of the monotony of the circuit by using TRX, cable weights, free weights, gliders and bands. Dawn will motivate, keep you focused and accountable. The support and camaraderie from participants will keep you on track toward your fitness goals. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

TRX Suspension Training with Adriana Ferns

Break out from your old routine and join Adriana for this 8-week program. TRX is a form of suspension training used to perform total body workouts with exercises that engage your core, while using your own bodyweight for resistance. Adriana will use TRX to take your resistance training to a new level through functional and dynamic movements, perfect for any age and any fitness level. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Summer Sizzle at Colt State Park with Adriana Ferns

This 8-week program, with certified personal trainer Adriana Ferns, is an outdoor total body workout with everything from running, plyometrics, to partner and equipment exercises. In just an hour you can really take your fitness to the next level. Take advantage of the weather and start the day off right. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Get Fit to Win It with Bryna Brooks

Participants will undertake an 8-week program that will make you feel and look like an athlete. Each week Bryna will take you through an intense 60 minute group workout routine that will combine calisthenics and strength training with exercises used by athletic pros. These kinds of routines can help you lose weight and get you into the best shape of your life, enhancing speed, agility and strength. Along with a weekly group training session, which will help keep you accountable and motivated, it also includes weekly weigh-ins, recipes, and diet/fitness tips. No need to be an athlete to train like an athlete. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Rock Your Resolution with Stacia Abdow

Stacia’s weight-loss challenge is an 8-week program to keep participants accountable to their New Year's Resolutions. The workout will be designed to be high intensity interval training. X-Training Plus with James Simmons

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Samurai Sprint Mud Run Training with Stacia Abdow

Have you always wanted to try an obstacle course race but wasn't sure how to train for it? Personal Trainer, Stacia Abdow has got you covered with her 6-week training program for the Samurai Mud Run in July. This program will prepare you for obstacles such as, balance beam, box jumps, rope climbing and many more. With Stacia's expertise and motivation she will get your ready for any obstacle that might get in your way! (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including: cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. This is a 10-week program designed to motivate and educate you to get you into the best shape of your life. Improve your strength and cardiovascular conditioning, and look as good as ever. The focus of this program will be on losing fat, not just body weight. You will be taught how to make permanent changes in your life. Rock the Beach Fat Loss Challenge with Sue Adams

Time to get beach body ready! This 10-week program will include: personalized 1/2 hour one on one training sessions, nutrition counseling, weekly weigh-ins, body composition testing as well as a one hour group training per week. Boot camp style workouts will include the use of various types of cardio equipment along with weights and machines. All fitness levels are welcome. Members that Inspire Us


 

David McFarland has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since December 2012. He attends the gym at least three times a week and trains with Adriana. David's favorite class is Adriana’s Boot Camp, because it gives him a great workout. Since he's started training David has lost 21 lbs. and is currently training for his third Tuff Scrambler race. When training David likes to remind himself that “Sweat is my fat crying”. The thing he likes at BTF is the staff, he said "The staff is awesome!” Thanks Dave, we think you are awesome too! Congratulations! Good luck with your Tuff Scrambler race!

 
Jeff Roy has been a member of Swansea Total Fitness since April 2015. Physical therapy sparked him into utilizing his membership and getting serious about his health due to a basketball injury last year. Jeff has lost 90 pounds; he is 10 pounds away from his goal of 100 lbs. He attributes the weight loss to changing his eating habits, exercise and a lot of hard work. Jeff says, “There is no secret to it, no surgery, no pills and no special diets.” He has learned “it is about what you put into your body. All the staff at Swansea Total Fitness have been very friendly and supportive." Thank you Jeff! You look fabulous!  
 

Mitchell Jacques joined Seekonk Total Fitness in September of 2015. Since then he has been working hard in the gym every day! He’s lost 40 pounds and in the process learned a lot about weight training. Mitchell said he didn’t change his diet, but did change his portion sizes. Seeing results is what keeps Mitchell motivated. Keep up the hard work!

 

Joanne Zanella-Litke has been a member of Dartmouth Total Fitness since February 2014. While at the gym Joanne enjoys personal and group training with Stacia Abdow. When she joined her goal was to see how fast she could finish a 5k. Joanne has met this goal and is ready to start her next challenge. She believes that diet is just as important as exercise and never giving up. Joanne used to have a difficult time exercising regularly on her own however, “Joining the gym and routinely participating in organized training sessions, and classes have really been key to me sticking with it.” Thank you and Congratulations Joanne!
