Tough Training Camp with Adriana Ferns

This 8-week program is designed to prepare participants for obstacle races. Adriana's workouts will consist of running with body weight exercises including plyometrics, agility and basic strength. Do you enjoy intense workouts, the camaraderie of group training or are you trying to get off a plateau? This is the workout for you! All ages and fitness levels welcome. All workouts will be outside (weather permitting) (min. 3 max. 6 participants).

Sugar Shakedown with Adriana Ferns

End the vicious circle of yo-yo diets and unhealthy patterns! For 12 weeks this program will help clean out the sugar from your body and help stop those carb cravings as well as craving those sweets. Meal plans, a grocery list, workouts and weekly weigh-ins/body fat measurements will be given throughout the program. With the support from Adriana and fellow participants, you will work and learn how to eat, live and maintain a healthy lifestyle. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Mix It Up with Dawn Casella

Break out of the monotony of the circuit by using TRX, cable weights, free weights, gliders and bands. For 6 weeks Dawn will motivate, keep you focused and accountable. The support and camaraderie from participants will keep you on track toward your fitness goals. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

This 8-week program will combine training one on one, group workouts along with individualized nutritional coaching. X-Training Plus with James Simmons

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Be Your Bad Bold Self with Jennifer Brown

Whether you want to run obstacle course races or just have a body that looks like you do, this training is for you! During this 8-week workshop PFT Jenn will train you to move your body through outdoor terrain. Run, leap, push, pull and crawl your way through nature’s obstacles outside (weather permitted), as you prepare for BoldrDash on Saturday October 3rd, 2015, (optional). (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 8-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build comraderie amongst the participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off. In addition there will be weekly 30 minute training sessions through out the 8 weeks which additionaly be used to establish dietary guidelines, workout routines and make any changes to the plan. If you have any questions contact Walter at

Elements of Fitness with David Roderick

Join David for his 8-week functional training program designed to teach participants how to perform exercises that train muscle groups to work together. This total body workout will help with daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, work or in sports. Body Comp Clinic with Craig Costa

Remember that “good sore” feeling? Remember the excitement in your potential when you first began to exercise? Recapture it this summer in Craig’s Body Comp Clinic. This is a 10-week program designed to motivate and educate you to get you into the best shape of your life. Improve your strength and cardiovascular conditioning, and look as good as ever. The focus of this program will be on losing fat, not just body weight. You will be taught how to make permanent changes in your life. Weekly group training sessions will be held, as well as individual consultations including measurements, meal plan guidance, and personalized program development and maintenance. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Intro to Free Weights with Craig Costa

Join Craig for his 8-week program to help participants feel comfortable with working out with free weights in a non-intimidating atmosphere. Members that Inspire Us

Nikki Solow has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since December 2013. You can find her in the gym 4 to 5 times a week with her trainer Adriana Ferns or taking group fitness classes. When asked if she had a favorite workout or class, Nikki replied, “Whatever my trainer tells me to do." She does offer a tip; “Have a cheat meal at least twice a week.” When she’s not working out you can find her walking with her dog. Nikki leaves this quote for everyone, “Learn to dance in the rain!” Congratulations Nikki and keep moving forward!


Tory Roberts joined Swansea Total Fitness in February of 2015. He was training for a body building competition in which he placed second. Tory works out six days a week and chest day is his favorite. He has been training for ten years and his philosophy is that "you can’t outrun a bad diet." Tory's personal goal is to become an International Federation of Body Builders Pro. SWTF is his favorite gym, he says, the staff has been very supportive and encouraging during his training for the competition, keep up the great work Tory! We are all very proud of you!


Dale Kelly has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since January 2015. Since joining, she has lost 35 lbs! At the gym, you can find Dale taking Spin classes or Walter’s Boot Camp. She says her key to success is being consistent and committed. Outside of the gym Dale enjoys kayaking, biking, and walking her dogs. This month, she is going to be participating in a kayaking event! Great job Dale, you are an inspiration to us all! Keep up all your hard work!


Rachel Robinson has been a member of Dartmouth Total Fitness since July 2013. She gets to the gym about 3-4 times a week and enjoys activities outdoors. Rachel recently climbed Mt. Monadnock in 2 hours; she believes her training contributed to her climbing success. While at the gym she enjoys James’ X-training program. Rachel says, “The workouts are challenging, you get to see what your body is made of and be proud of your achievements. Any workout is better than no workout at all. I love DTF! The staff is encouraging and knowledgeable and the gym is always clean.” Thanks Rachel and Congratulations!
