Foam Roller Pilates Express with Dawn Casella

Don't have time? This is the workshop for you! Just 30 minutes and you will leave feeling refreshed! Dawn will lead you on how to stabilize, strengthen, and align your body by using the foam roller with classical Pilates style exercises. Learn how to find your natural corset and experience less joint pain, more core stability and better postural alignment. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Roll, Glide and Have a Ball with Dawn Casella

This 4-week program will help you offset your fitness training by foam rolling out those tired muscles. Dawn will challenge your core and balance with gliding disks along with the stability ball. This workshop helps you build a great foundation for legs, arms, hips and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment to develop a strong core while improving coordination and balance. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Pilates Mat & TRX with Dawn Casella

This 4-week program pairs Pilates Mat with TRX (Total-body Resistence X-Training). The Pilates portion of the workshop will involve a series of exercises performed on a mat. Adding in TRX will challenge you with body weight exercises. This workout will help you increase total-body flexibility, mobility, and stability, as well as develop core strength. The focus will be on technique, stabilization, balance and strength by paying special attention to alignment and form. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Fat Loss Fit Camp with Dave Parker

Join Dave for this 8-week program that will help you gain strength and endurance. Group training high intensity and conditioning workouts will include a variety of equipment such as: ropes, kettlebells, sleds and more. Personal nutritional coaching with weigh-ins and body fat testing at the beginning and end to measure strength as well as endurance gains. Dave will encourage you to push yourself! Know it won't be easy, but it will be worth it. (min. 3 max. 10 participants)

Body Bounce Back with Adriana Ferns

Did barbecues and beach chairs take a toll on your body this summer? It's time to bounce back and take control of your health! Join Adriana for this 8-week program that will keep you accountable with weekly weigh-ins, bi-weekly body fat composition and nutritional guidance. Workouts will include: strength and cardiovascular training along with calisthenics. Participants will also be given a personalized weekly workout to help get back into the routine of getting to the gym regularly. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

TRX Suspension Training with Adriana Ferns

Break out from your old routine and join Adriana for this 8-week program. TRX is a form of suspension training used to perform total body workouts with exercises that engage your core, while using your own bodyweight for resistance. Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

X-Training Plus with James Simmons

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including: cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Members that Inspire Us


 

Kayla Cartwright has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since 2014. She attends the gym four times a week and trains with Adriana Ferns. Adriana teaches her new exercises and keeps pushing her out of her comfort zone. Kayla recently completed her first half marathon and is hoping to do more races this summer and fall. Her new focus is her upcoming wedding in July 2017. Kayla is striving to be in the best shape possible before she says "I Do". The supportive, friendly staff and members are what she loves about BTF. The staff would like to congratulate Kayla not only on all of her achievements, but also on her recent engagement!

 

Joanne and Rick Lambert have been Swansea Total Fitness members since March 2000. They workout together 4-5 times a week. Joanne had knee replacement surgery in 2014. Since her surgery, she has come back to the gym and lost 25 pounds. Joanne says, "Making your workout a fun part of your daily routine is an important part to staying fit." Since August of 2015 Rick has lost 46 pounds. His motto is, “Don’t live to workout, workout to live!" Both Joanne and Rick feel that the staff at SWTF is very friendly, supportive and helpful. Keep up the good work! Congratulations you both look fabulous!

 

Jeff Gagnon and Jim Spellman have been members of Seekonk Total Fitness since August of 2015. They are workout buddies and have been making gains to stay strong for their jobs as police officers. Jeff works for Woonsocket and Jim for N. Attleboro. They met while working security at Butler Hospital. When they aren’t keeping each other motivated or cracking jokes in the gym you can find Jeff spending quality time with his daughter and Jim enjoying the outdoors on his motorcycle. They like that SKTF has a lot of equipment like sleds, ropes and tires. Thanks you guys for keeping us safe and staying strong in our club!

 

Lori Tetreault has been a member of Dartmouth Total Fitness since April 2010. She attends the gym 5 times a week. Lori participates in personal and group training with Shaun Monteiro as well as spin class with instructor Julie Fostin. “In 2012, I completed the Tough Mudder in Vermont. I believe my training with Shaun contributed to my success." Lori’s fitness tip is to make working out a part of your life. The more consistent you are, it becomes a lifestyle. A personal quote about her fitness journey is, “It’s not pain. It’s just uncomfortable.“ "I love DTF. Great staff and the gym is always clean.” Thank you and congratulations Lori!
