3rd Annual Meet Our Local Heroes Toy Drive at Bristol Total Fitness

On Saturday, Dec 19th, between 10am - 12pm our local veterans will be collecting toys. Total Fitness members and the public may donate a toy and in return have their picture taken with our heroes. Our very own Andy Calise will be leading the troop! We will be providing snacks and refreshments to all who participate.

Bristol Total Fitness is teaming up with Bristol Good Neighbors to provide toys to benefit our local children. We will start collecting new and unwrapped toys Nov 27th - Dec 23rd. You may drop the toys off in the designated boxes in the foyer. Happy Holidays!

 

Seekonk Total Fitness Toy Drive

This Holiday Season Seekonk Total Fitness is teaming up with Bristol Good Neighbors, for a toy drive to benefit our local children. We will start collecting new and unwrapped toys Nov 27th - Dec 20th. You may drop the toys off in the designated boxes in the foyer.

 
Holiday Giving Tree

This season, Total Fitness will be accepting donations in the form of gifts requested by children. If you are able, add 1 more to your shopping list and make this holiday special for a local child in need.

Swansea Total Fitness will be teaming up with Dare Family Services. We will be accepting unwrapped gifts (gift bags are ok) from Nov 27th - Dec 13th.

Dartmouth Total Fitness will be teaming up with New Bedford Child & Family Services. We will be accepting gifts from Dec 1st - Dec 15th.

Total Fitness Weight Loss Challenge

Weight Loss Challenge participants will undertake a 10-week long program that will combine personalized one on one sessions and specific dietary guidelines for each individual as well as a weekly boot camp.  Teams will work together to compete with teams from other gyms and trainers to lose as much weight safely as a team as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off. Weekly weigh-ins will be conducted at each gym and stats will be posted ranking weight loss in pounds and by percentage. TRX Suspension Training with Adriana Ferns

Break out from your old routine and join Adriana for this 8-week program. TRX is a form of suspension training used to perform total body workouts with exercises that engage your core, while using your own bodyweight for resistance. Adriana will use TRX to take your resistance training to a new level through functional and dynamic movements, perfect for any age and any fitness level. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Mix It Up with Dawn Casella

Break out of the monotony of the circuit by using TRX, cable weights, free weights, gliders and bands. Dawn will motivate, keep you focused and accountable. The support and camaraderie from participants will keep you on track toward your fitness goals. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Body Blast with Mike Bove

Join Mike for this 8-week program to increase strength and weight loss, while boosting your confidence and self-esteem. The workouts will include: high and low intensity interval training with short rest periods. Participants will be using kettlebells, bands and body weight for resistance. Weigh-ins and body fat will be taken at the beginning and the end of the program. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

X-Training Plus with James Simmons

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Let James help you achieve your goals using the latest and most effective methods. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Fever Fit with Julie Fostin

Catch the fever! Make progress and mix up your routine with circuit strength training, cardio intervals and more. Join Lizzie for this 6-week workshop, designed for women who want to challenge themselves through high intensity weight training and cardio conditioning. Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including: cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Workouts will consist of weight, balance and flexibility training with cardio intervals to focus on core strength. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Members that Inspire Us


Melissa Jordan has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since March 2002. After having her two little boys, Teddy and Owen, she decided to get back into the groove of things. Coming to the gym as least 3 times a week, she has been dedicated to losing the baby weight and she looks fantastic! “Being a mother does not mean you don’t have time to exercise, it means you should make the time and be a healthy role model.” Congratulations Melissa!

 

Lauren Gentile joined Swansea Total Fitness in 2012. She trains 3-4 times a week and participates in Personal Trainer; Abby Cabral's Girls Club. Lauren feels that group training has held her accountable to her weekly workouts, and sees results. Abby has taught her proper form, a variety of workout strategies, and challenges Lauren to push herself. She says, "My overall confidence has improved and I am in better shape than I have ever been. One quote that inspires me is "take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live." by Jim Rohn." She finds everyone at SWTF to be friendly and helpful. Congratulations Lauren!

 

Hunter Haskell has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since July 2015. He trains with Kevin to keep himself on track and to achieve his fitness goals. Hunter is a 12 year old who enjoys playing baseball for his middle school team. When he isn’t at the gym or busy doing his 6th grade homework, he likes to be outside in the backyard playing baseball and football with his brother. Hunter’s motivation to exercise is to lose some weight as well as making it easier for him to play sports. His favorite exercise to do at the gym is the cable rope. Way to go Hunter! Keep up the great work!

 

Scott Kruger joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in August 2013. He attends the gym five days a week and trains with Personal Trainer; James Simmons. Scott’s greatest accomplishment has been training for the New Bedford Half Marathons. In 2002 he weighed 240 pounds, during his training he lost 50 pounds. Scott believes, “as long as you burn more calories than you eat, you can’t go wrong! Exercising on a daily basis is the best thing to do. I also feel like a low carb diet is the way to go.” He says, “The staff always has great fitness advice, and is always helpful and polite.” Thank you and congratulations Scott!
