Pedal To End Cancer

Pedal to End Cancer, formerly Spin for Hope, is a three hour SPINNING event taking the place simultaneously at participating health clubs around New England. 100% of the contributions go directly to the American Cancer Society!

Participants can register as individulas, or form a team of two or more. Individuals are encouraged (but not required) to raise a minimum of $300. Participants sharing a bike are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100 each.

Lift with Love with Frankie Impastato

Just in time for the romantic month of February. Frankie believes in couples that train together stay together. So get your loved one and join Frankie for this 4 week strength training workshop. It's always a plus to hold each other accountable!

TRX Suspension Training with Adriana Ferns

Break out from your old routine and join us for this 8 week TRX Suspension Training workshop - the bodyweight exercise that trains your body for how you move in life. Adriana will challenge you each time while keeping this program for all levels.

Introduction to the Pilates Reformer with Dawn Casella

Join Dawn for a 6 week Introduction to the Pilates Reformer designed to teach you the basics to prep you for group classes. Perfect for anyone that's never done Pilates Reformer or anyone who might want to review the basics. This workshop is equal to the 3 privates needed before being able to take group reformer classes as long as you complete the 6 weeks.

Tuesday @ 5:30pm- 6:30pm, Feb 11th - Mar 18th

Fitness Revival with Dawn Casella 

Are you sick of going through the circuit #1-10 every week? Do you want to do more but think group classes will be too much for you? Do you enjoy working out with others of the same fitness level as you? Have you been away for a while and need a jump start? Fitness Revival is designed to step up your workout by incorporating basic strength training and cardiovascular training. Nutrition and proper stretching technique will also be incorporated into the 6 week training program. This class will guide you through the steps to get to the next level of fitness. Group training is designed as a more affordable way to get the training you need to progress your workout safely.

Time: 
Wednesday @ 8am - 9am, Feb 19th - Mar 26th
Thursday @ 6:30am - 7:30am, Feb 20th - Mar 27th

Scrambler Obstacle Training Camp with Adriana Ferns

Prepare for the upcoming season of obstacle training with this 8 week training camp. It will be held at Colt State Park. Adriana will have you running and jumping; along with simulations of the obstacles you will be facing in the race. By being a part of this camp, you will receive results.

Time:
Monday @ 5:45am - 6:45am, Mar 24th - May 12th 
Wednesday @ 5:45am - 6:45am, Mar 26th - May 14th

Cost: $130 1x per week or $260 2x per week

Hurricane Training with Erin Carr

Join Erin for this 8 week program where you will burn fat, build muscle, and feel great! You will receive two group sessions per week, with nutritional advice. Metabolic strength training sessions that will bring you to the next level. Erin will also provide you with a workout for non-meeting days. Goal Setting + Accountability = Results!

Friday @ 6:30 - 7:30pm and Sunday @ 7:30am - 8:30am

Golf Fitness Evaluation and Training with Jodi Garie

Jodi Garie, a Titleist Certified Fitness Instructor, will perform a 90 Minute personalized golf fitness evaluation and design training programs. This is for individuals who are ready to transform their body while improving golf game performance and overall conditioning. Whatever your physical activity concerns are, Jodi's goal is to improve your current fitness level by creating a regimen of simple drills and exercises for you!

Meditation and Movement with Jenn Brown

Join Jenn for this 8 week program meeting twice a week. Your first session will include strength and cardiovascular training for a total body workout in a group setting. Your second session will include a group discussion about stress relief and self-care. Jenn will help you with techniques on how to let go of all the chatter in your mind and relax, ending the session with a short meditation practice.

Members that Inspire Us


David McFarland joined Bristol Total Fitness back in December of 2012. Since joining, he has been doing high intensity interval training with Adriana ferns. Along with his regular sessions, he is also in training for the Tough Scrambler. His favorite go to exercise, Burpees! He enjoys taking Christine's Spin when he can. On his down time he likes to go golfing & boating. Congratulations David and keep up the good work!
 
Adam & Jen Palmisciano joined Swansea Total Fitness in the Fall of 2009. They made a lifestyle change to make fitness part of their every day routine. When Adam & Jen's son Drew was born it was challenging for them to find time to workout. Overcoming those challenges, they are able to support each other to reach their goals. Jen comes to the gym for group fitness classes and loves yoga. Adam spends a lot of time on the cardio deck and does some lifting. He’s lost at least 80 pounds with all of his hard work! Thank you, Adam &  Jen, for inspiring us. Keep up the great work!
 

Mike Vital has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since August 2013. Since then he has lost over 40lbs & has transformed his physique! After 18 years of not working out, Mike decided he needed a change & he signed up for Walter’s Weight Loss Challenge. In 10 weeks he completely changed his body & Mike is now RIPPED! Mike uses this Socrates quote for motivation & he is definitely proof that hard work pays off. “No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”

 

Nancy Sylvain has been at Dartmouth Total Fitness since our opening. She’s been working out at the facility for almost 6 years. Nancy said, "The staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, the members here in a morning are a pleasant group". She usually does a combination of cardio and machines. What motivates her to keep coming? “I don’t want to gain weight!” Nancy treats the gym like a job, “I don’t think about it in the morning, just get up and go.” Her advice to those looking to get into a routine, “Don’t get discouraged, everyone has good days and bad days.” Thank you, Nancy, we are lucky to have you as Member of the Month!
