Zumba Fitness Charity Event with Kerri Warner

Show off your Latin dance moves for this fun charity event to raise funds for Tasha Gaspar Haas. She will be running The Boston Marathon in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A suggested donation of $10 to participate. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Sign up at the front desk today!

Pedal To End Cancer

Pedal to End Cancer, formerly Spin for Hope, is a three hour SPINNING event taking place simultaneously at participating health clubs around New England. 100% of the contributions go directly to the American Cancer Society!

This is really just a giant Spin Party for a great cause! With over 80 participants last year, Total Fitness raised over $33,000 for the ACS through this event!

Bove's Bench Press Only with Mike Bove

Are you looking to take your bench press to the next level? If the answer is yes, this 6-week program, meeting twice a week is for you. Mike's program will increase strength, improve your form, and help prevent injury. Each participant will have before and after measurements taken along with offering nutritional advisement. Enjoy the camaraderie of training in a group atmosphere, while achieving a new PR in your chest training. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Tuff Conditioning with Adriana Ferns

This 8-week program is designed to prepare participants for obstacle races. Adriana's workouts will consist of running with body weight exercises including plyometrics, agility and basic strength. Do you enjoy intense workouts, the camaraderie of group training or are you trying to get off a plateau? This is the workout for you! All ages and fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 10 participants)

TRX Suspension Training with Adriana Ferns

Break out from your old routine and join Adriana for this 8-week program. TRX is a form of suspension training used to perform total body workouts with exercises that engage your core, while using your own bodyweight for resistance. Adriana will use TRX to take your resistance training to a new level through functional and dynamic movements, perfect for any age and any fitness level. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Mix It Up with Dawn Casella

Break out of the monotony of the circuit by using TRX, cable weights, free weights, gliders and bands. Dawn will motivate, keep you focused and accountable. The support and camaraderie from participants will keep you on track toward your fitness goals. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Evolution Nutrition Bootcamp with Carrie Gippo

This 4-week bootcamp is a nutrition educational program designed to help participants achieve their personal health goals. Carrie will educate you on the way our body metabolizes foods, which foods to eat, and how often we should eat. She will also discuss goal setting, sugars, label reading, alcohol, whole grains and fiber, fat, sodium, and antioxidant rich foods.

Nutrition bootcamp was designed by the Registered Dietitians at Evolution Nutrition. Carrie Gippo will facilitate the class. She has a bachelor's degree in nutrition and is currently a graduate student enrolled in the Nutrition Education program at Framingham State University, MA.

Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Rock Your Resolution with Stacia Abdow

Stacia’s weight-loss challenge is an 8-week program to keep participants accountable to their New Year's Resolutions. The workout will be designed to be high intensity interval training. Including weekly weigh ins to keep you focused toward your goals. Let's keep those heart rates up and burn some major calories! (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

X-Training Plus with James Simmons

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Fever Fit with Julie Fostin

Catch the fever! Make progress and mix up your routine with circuit strength training, cardio intervals and more. Members that Inspire Us


 

Jill Vieweg has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since April 2014 and Jordan Znui has been a member since July 2013. They come to the gym 4 to 6 times a week and both love back day! Between Jill and Jordan they have lost a total of 160lbs.! Their favorite fitness tip is, drink lots of water, it helps limit unnecessary snacking. Jill and Jordan would like to mention that the “BTF staff is awesome, they get to know you and are super helpful if you ever have any questions. The quote they leave us with is, “getting to the gym is half the battle but if they can do it, you can do it.” Congratulations Jill & Jordan, and don’t stop moving forward!

 

Rick and Michaelyn Profio have been members of Swansea Total Fitness since 2011. They workout five to six times a week and believe in a balance of exercise and nutrition. For Rick and Michaelyn weekends, restaurants and summer cookouts are their biggest enemies. While Rick enjoys lifting, cardio and Spinning classes they both regularly attend Craig’s Sunday morning Power Hour. Last fall Rick and Michaelyn both participated in Craig’s Body Comp Clinic and had excellent results – lost weight and more importantly lost body fat. They credit the staff and trainers for being long time members at SWTF. Keep up the good work Rick and Michaelyn!

 

Kevin Oldrid has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since 2009. He enjoys attending classes like Spin, Functional Fitness, and Spin Core. Most of all training with Walter has changed Kevin's life in many aspects. 2016 his goals are to keep the weight off he lost in 2015, but also to do a 30-minute plank! When Kevin isn’t spending his free time at the gym he is outdoors doing activities such as hiking and if weather permits he will be outdoors cruising around on his motorcycle. Keep up the great work Kevin; we can’t wait to witness your 30-minute plank!

 

Ashley Duff and Sean O’Brien have been a members of Dartmouth Total Fitness since 2014. “Working out as a couple helps us to push ourselves and give us an activity that we can bond over.” Sean’s fitness tip is “Everybody has to start somewhere and no one should feel intimated by what someone else is lifting.” Ashley recently slowed down at the gym because she is now 8.5 months pregnant. Her fitness tip for women is “females shouldn’t be intimidated by weight training, it truly helps the female physique”. They love DTF's staff, cleanliness, and especially our protein shakes! Congratulations Ashley and Sean!
