Learn How You Can Achieve Your Specific Health & Fitness Goals

All members are eligible for a initial FREE Fitness Consult as part of your current membership.

 

We are constantly looking for opportunities to help our members get the most from their time and effort when they exercise which is why we have developed this new program. The Fitness Consult is a highly specific and individualized set of fitness tests and injury screenings that take your personal goals into consideration.


Your Fitness Consult will be conducted and analyzed by one of TFC’s Master Trainers AND will provide you with personalized information that will give you a clear direction for you to take towards accomplishing your health & fitness goals. You will be assessed on all five components of physical fitness: Body Composition, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Flexibility and Cardiovascular Strength. And you will undergo a Functional Movement Screen that assesses and documents functional movement patterns (movement is the foundation upon which your performance is established).

 

Functional Movement Screen®, also referred to as FMS, is a ranking and grading system created to document movement patterns that are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, functional limitations and imbalances are readily identified. Basic movement pattern limitations can reduce the effects of functional training, physical conditioning, and distort body awareness.   This screening is a great tool for athletes, weekend warriors, or anyone who is interested in discovering whether or not they have any imbalances in their current training methods.

The Fitness Consult Program is available at all Total Fitness locations.  

Learn More or Schedule a Fitness Consult:  To take advantage of your Fitness Consult just go to the front desk at any TFC Club and fill out and submit a Fitness Consult Questionnaire. You will either be given an appointment at that time or your gym’s Master Trainer will contact you to schedule an appointment.
