FREE Summer Bootcamp with Adriana Ferns

Yes, Bristol Total Fitness and Bristol Parks & Recreation is still continuing with our FREE Boot Camp! Our second installment will be the same day, same time, DIFFERENT location. Beginning June 14th, the boot camp will be held at the Bristol Town Common (across the street from Reynolds School). Wear your workout gear and be prepared to sweat!

Greg Billington 5K

On Friday, July 4th, the Greg Billington 5K will be held in Somerset. What a great way to start celebrating the 4th with this scenic run along Riverside Avenue. Any member that shows valid registration for this race will receive a free Total Fitness t-shirt to wear on race day. Sign up sheets and registration forms are located at the Swansea Total Fitness front desk or click here to register online. Start your holiday with some Total Fitness Spirit! Seekonk Total Fitness Video Shoot

We will be shooting a video of the facility, equipment and classes at our Seekonk location Monday July 14th-Wednesday July 16th.

Be prepared if you want to be in it! We respect your wishes for privacy - so If you do not wish to be in the video stop by the front desk (when you come in) and we will inform our videoprapher to edit you out of the footage (it’s that simple).

The gym will be free and open to the public during the duration of the video shoot. Bring your friends and family for a work out or your favorite class!

Bodacious Bodies with Dawn Casella

This 8 week group training workshop will take you through a progressive workout that teaches you exercises that will hit all the spots that we ladies want to focus on. Dawn Casella will show you exercises to help lift, shape and tone your body like you never have before. This program will focus on exercises that sculpt arms, defines legs, back, tighten abs, lift your butt and chest. Sorry fellas this workshop is ladies only (minimum of 3 particpants).

Total Fitness for Women Outdoors with Erin Ward

Join the second half of this workshop. It's time to take working out to the outdoors. Everything you would do with Erin for Total Fitness for Women Group Training now will be outside plus track work, obstacles and whatever else Erin might have up her sleeve (minimum of 3 particpants).

Total Fitness for Women with Erin Ward 

Total Fitness for Women is an 4-week group training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Erin Ward. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from you trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Erin will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and biweekly weigh ins and measurements to keep your progress on track (minimum of 3 participants).

Fitness Revival with Dawn CasellaFitness Revival with Dawn Casella

Are you sick of going through the circuit #1-10 every week? Do you want to do more but think group classes will be too much for you? Do you enjoy working out with others of the same fitness level as you? Have you been away for a while and need a jump start? Fitness Revival is designed to step up your workout by incorporating basic strength training and cardiovascular training. Nutrition and proper stretching technique will also be incorporated into the 6 week training program. This class will guide you through the steps to get to the next level of fitness. Group training is designed as a more affordable way to get the training you need to progress your workout safely (minimum of 3 participants).

Back to Basics Strengthening the Posterior Chain with Erin Ward

Say goodbye to back pain! Back to Basics is a program offered to anyone who either experiences chronic back pain and/or is looking to strengthen the muscles that support the spine. This beginner workshop will focus on five exercises for four weeks. Participants will learn to shift the focus from the front muscles generally overused to the larger muscles of the posterior chain. This will in turn build strength, improve flexibility, correct poor movement patterns, stabilize the spine and improve posture (minimum of 3 participants).

Introduction to the Pilates Reformer with Dawn Casella

Join Dawn for a 6 week Introduction to the Pilates Reformer designed to teach you the basics to prep you for group classes. Perfect for anyone that's never done Pilates Reformer or anyone who might want to review the basics. This workshop is equal to the 3 privates needed before being able to take group reformer classes as long as you complete the 6 weeks (minimum of 3 participants).

Summer Fever Fit with Julie Fostin

Total Fitness Kids with Stacia Abdow

Schools out, the Spring sport season is over and you are looking for options, on how to keep your kids in top shape for the Fall. Personal Trainer, Stacia Abdow has the answer with her Total Fitness Kids program. This 6 week cross-training program is created to keep kids fit and healthy through the Summer months by working outside with battle ropes, agility ladders, sprint training and so much more. Let Stacia help you make training fun during the off season.

Mud Girl's Adventure Training with Jenn Brown

Train for the Mudderella Obstacle Course Race Saturday Sep 6th in Boston. This 8 week outdoor boot camp includes dynamic strength training and terrain running that will get you ready to conquer this 6 mile course. Jenn's guidance and motivation will prepare you for success!

Acceleration Clinic for High School Athletes of All Sports with Chris Raymond

This program meeting twice a week will do 5 things. 1. Increase athletes body awareness and coordination. 2. Improve readiness and reactions for athletes sport. 3. Utilize assessments to correctly address key components of athletes limitations and strengths. 4. Safely train in an organized and fun environment. 5. Athletes will learn more about sports nutrition and how it can be affecting performance on the field. Let Chris help you improve your fitness with his 5 week program during the off season.

Members that Inspire Us


Jack Roche has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since November 2009. Before joining Jack was always active and decided that he wanted to continue as he got older. Over time he has done circuit and cardio, but now mainly sticks to simply walking on the treadmill. He loves coming in to Bristol Total Fitness to socialize with everyone he knows. When he’s not walking at the gym, he likes to walk around town meeting new people and enjoys reading. Congratulations Jack and thank you for showing that no matter what age, you can always make time to take care of your health.

 
Steve Billington joined Swansea Total Fitness in April 2001. His main goal for coming to the gym is to stay healthy. He feels that the key to good health is keeping the heart healthy and strong. Steve says, “As you get older, you want to stay fit, be active, and stay mentally healthy." Another motivation for Steve to stay fit is training to run the annual July 4th Greg Billington Memorial Race. Steve started the race in memory of his brother Greg that passed away in 2006, after a three year battle with colon cancer. Keep up the good work Steve and congratulations on all that you have achieved!!
 
Member of the Month Bristol Total Fitness 2013Sharon Corriveau and Rob Rock have been members since January 2012. They are one of the most dedicated duos at Seekonk Total Fitness. Their workouts are seriously challenging and their consistency is beyond impressive. Sharon is an E. Providence firefighter and volleyball coach. Her focus is healthy living by eating well and exercising often. Rob works in municipal government and likes being active. He loves the classes at Seekonk Total Fitness because it gives him the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. We don’t even have to say “keep up the good work” because these two are in it to win it!
 
Linda Schick has been a member of Dartmouth Total Fitness for almost a year, formerly a member of Revolution for 6 years. Linda had many peaks and valleys in her fitness journey. She attributes her recent weight-loss success to being consistent with exercise and nutrition. Linda loves many of the group fitness classes. She has also enjoyed participating in many personal training programs with Dawn Cetrone, Julie Fostin, Erica Morency and Stacia Abdow. Linda would like to say "Thank you to all the great class instructors and members who are a part of my gym family." Thank you Linda for being such a loyal and supportive member. Congratulations!
