Welcome to Total Fitness's new venture... Mind Body Studios at Total Fitness, formerly known as Evolution Pilates Studio. Mind Body offers Pilates, barre, yoga and more, plus it's conveniently located within the same building as Bristol Total Fitness.

Our mission is to provide a comfortable and safe environment for the members of our community to explore the mind and body. We aim to provide quality instruction and care; creating an enjoyable and challenging setting for the mind and body while lifting the spirit.

3rd Annual Free Boot Camp at Independence Park with Adriana Ferns

Mix It Up with Dawn Casella

Summer Sizzle at Colt State Park with Adriana Ferns

This 8 week program, with certified personal trainer Adriana Ferns, is an outdoor total body workout with everything from running, plyometrics, to partner and equipment exercises. In just an hour you can really take your fitness to the next level. Take advantage of the weather and start the day off right. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Level 1: Learn the basics of Pilates mat to develop a strong foundation. Focusing on precision, strengthing the core and the 18 primary exercises of the Joseph Pilates method.

Pilates Mat Plus with Rachel Pelisson

Intro to Pilates mat plus targeted nutrition for optimal performance and weight loss. Gain core strength, flexibility, and length. Suitable for all fitness levels. Nutrition topics will include macro-nutrients, probiotics, and energy balance. Improve fitness and learn eating habits to support a healthy lifestyle! Rachel is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and Balanced Body Pilates Mat certified.

Total Core Pilates: Jumpboard and Back Strengthening with Erin Ward

Total body warm-up and core conditioning using the reformer jumpboard. The class will provide footwork, leg toning, and stabilization work for the shoulders, spine, and pelvis, as well as cardiovascular endurance. It will also include light hand weights at times. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

X-Training Plus with James Simmons

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Girls Gone Strong with Danielle Barboza

Looking to get started with free weights? Want to improve your form on movements you’re having trouble with? Interested in adding in accessory movements to get off that plateau? Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Schools out, the Spring sport season is over and you are looking for options, on how to keep your kids in top shape for the Fall. This 6 week cross-training program is created to keep kids fit and healthy through the Summer months by working outside with battle ropes, agility ladders, sprint training and so much more. Summer Body Comp Clinic with Craig Costa

Remember that “good sore” feeling? Remember the excitement in your potential when you first began to exercise? Recapture it this summer in Craig’s Body Comp Clinic. This is a 10-week program designed to motivate and educate you to get you into the best shape of your life. Improve your strength and cardiovascular conditioning, and look as good as ever. The focus of this program will be on losing fat, not just body weight. You will be taught how to make permanent changes in your life. Weekly group training sessions will be held, as well as individual consultations including measurements, meal plan guidance, and personalized program development and maintenance. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst the participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off. Members that Inspire Us

Mary Keenan joined Bristol Total Fitness in January 2014. Mary has always been active. Her main focus for joining was to just maintain and try out some classes. Since becoming a member Mary has started training with Adriana Ferns and has been training for her first half marathon. Her next goal is to eventually be able to do a full marathon. When Mary's not working or training, she likes to spend time with her fiancée. Congratulations!


Hannah Tickle joined Swansea Total Fitness in 2014. After her college graduation she was unhappy with her appearance and started working with Kevin Fusi. Before working with Kevin, Hannah wanted to be thin and cared little about what she had to do to get there. Now she finds herself more concerned with having a healthy body. Hannah says, "I've just changed the way I think about my body. I am also exponentially more confident going to the weight room and using equipment correctly. I have finally begun to think about clean eating and exercise as a lifestyle change for which I am grateful." Congratulations Hannah!


Kim Carvalho has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since September 2014. She joined the gym with a goal of losing 50 lbs. So far, Kim has lost 30 lbs! With the support and motivation from her husband Dan, she has reached her goals, fits back into her clothes and now lives a healthy lifestyle. Outside of the gym, Kim loves to spend time with her family, and watch her son Jordan play baseball. Great job Kim, Keep up all your hard work!


The Oldham family joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in 2010. John, Brandon, & Trevor enjoy doing strength training mixed with cardio. Abby & Betsy love our group exercise classes. The family maintains success by attending the gym regularly & living a healthy lifestyle. Healthy eating is the backbone to their training goals. Patience, consistency, & motivation are key.
