Swansea Total Fitness 3rd Annual Thanksgiving 5k Run/3k Walk

Join the Total Fitness team this Thanksgiving morning for our 3rd Annual Thanksgiving event! All proceeds will go to benefit Home Base. Entry fee prior to Nov 24th is $25, $30 day of race. The first 200 registered runners/walkers will receive a t-shirt. Registration forms will be available at the front desk at all TFC locations. Bootcamp Challenge Charity Event with Greg Homol

Are you up for a challenge? Join Greg for this bootcamp style charity event to raise funds for the Fisher House Foundation. The house provides housing for families of veterans who are in the VA hospital for an extended periods of time. A suggested donation of $5 to participate. All proceeds go to the Fisher House Foundation.

Total Fitness Spin-A-Thon

Get your turkey burn on and save lives! American Heart Association is teaming up with Total Fitness to host our first ever Spin-A-Thon. 

A spin-a-thon is a peer-to-peer fundraising event that is organized very similarly to a walk-a-thon. Instead of walking, participants are spinning (or riding a stationary bike in place) to raise critical funds to educate the community about the dangers of heart disease and fund scientific research that can save lives.

$50 individual/ $75 team registration fee with a $250 fundraising minimum per bike. There are only 20 bikes available. Register today!

Fit Club with Dave Parker

Join Dave for this 8-week program that will help you gain strength and endurance. Group training high intensity and conditioning workouts will include a variety of equipment such as: ropes, kettlebells, sleds and more. Fitness gains will be measured by comparing weights and times from previous workouts. Dave will encourage you to push yourself! Know it won't be easy, but it will be worth it. (min. 3 max. 10 participants)

Roll, Glide and Have a Ball with Dawn Casella

This 4-week program will help you offset your fitness training by foam rolling out those tired muscles. Dawn will challenge your core and balance with gliding disks along with the stability ball. This workshop helps you build a great foundation for legs, arms, hips and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment to develop a strong core while improving coordination and balance. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Mix It Up with Dawn Casella

Break out of the monotony of the circuit by using TRX, cable weights, free weights, gliders and bands. Dawn will motivate, keep you focused and accountable. The support and camaraderie from participants will keep you on track toward your fitness goals. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

TRX Pilates Mat Fusion with Dawn Casella

This 4-week program pairs Pilates Mat with TRX (Total-body Resistance X-Training). The Pilates portion of the workshop will involve a series of exercises performed on a mat. Adding in TRX will challenge you with body weight exercises. This workout will help you increase total-body flexibility, mobility, and stability, as well as develop core strength. The focus will be on technique, stabilization, balance and strength by paying special attention to alignment and form. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Bundle Up Bootcamp with Adriana Ferns

TRX Suspension Training with Adriana Ferns

Glute Camp with Erica Morency & Bryna Brooks

It's time to put those jeans on again and Erica & Bryna want to help you look good in them. This is an 8-week progressive strength-training program to build a lean and strong lower body. Indoor and outdoor circuit training workouts will include a balance of free weights and bodyweight training along with nutritional guidance to help you reach your goals. Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

X-Training Plus with James Simmons

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including: cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Members that Inspire Us


Samara Duarte has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since March of 2016. She joined right after moving from Brazil. Fitness is a big part of Samara’s life, with a degree in Exercise Science she was working as a personal trainer in Brazil. Strength training is Samara's favorite form of exercise, but you can also find her in the cardio area. What she loves about BTF is, "The staff is very welcoming and patient with my English as I’m learning.” She also loves the babysitting staff. “I can work out, have time for myself and know that my child is safe.” Congratulations Samara! We can’t wait to see what your future here in America holds for you!


Lucy Charette has been a member of Swansea Total Fitness since July 2016. Before joining she felt stuck in a rut, had little upper body strength and could barely do a push up. She's been working with personal trainer, Jim Nolan and is now able to do 20 pushups. Lucy loves working with Jim, she feels he adapts programming based on her goals. A fitting quote about her fitness journey is “strive for progress not perfection”. One tip Lucy has for others is to be patient, be consistent, eat clean, work hard and don’t give up. Lucy says," the SWTF staff have been welcoming, helpful and encouraging." Thank you Lucy and Congratulations!

Sarah Rockwell joined Seekonk Total Fitness in November of 2015 when she started training for the MS 150 bike race. She started Spinning and Group Power classes and was instantly hooked because she loves the motivational instructors! Sarah has been coming up with new challenges for herself which keeps her coming to the gym consistently. From doing the MS 150 on the bike, Sarah decided to start running again and even finished a 5k this year and is training for longer distance races too! Sarah is a teacher in Pawtucket and in her free time loves spending time outside with her chocolate lab. Love seeing you in class Sarah! Stay strong!

Josh Camara has been a member of Dartmouth Total Fitness since 2010. His favorite exercise is squatting and he enjoys Crossfit and weightlifting. “I've lost a lot of weight then gained a good amount of muscle.” With a 235lbs snatch and 290lbs clean and jerk, Josh attributes eating clean and training heavy to his fitness success. “The entire staff is great and some of the best fitness tips I've gotten were from trainer Shaun Monteiro.” We are proud to have a member like Josh keeping us a part of his fitness journey for so many years “It's been a long road and I enjoyed, and continue to enjoy every part of it.” Thank you and congratulations Josh!
