Running Brook Vineyards

Running Brook was founded in 1998 by Pedro Teixeira and Manuel Morais out of a vision to produce top quality wines that will make New Englanders proud and satisfy their palates. 

Dr. Teixeira, owner and winemaker, graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1987. Having spent most of his childhood in the Azores, Portugal, and later in California he caught the grape bug. This condition was exacerbated when he moved to Rhode Island and met his patient, co-founder, Manuel Morais. They visited many vineyards and wineries and decided to grow Vitis Vinifera grapes and produce premium wines in Southeastern New England.

Our location in North Dartmouth is ideal for us to produce excellent 100% estate grown, vinted, and bottled wines. Some of the varietals include; Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Vidal Blanc, Charonnday, and Pinot Gris, among others.

Bristol Total Fitness - Fall Into Fitness Fun Fair

Come join us for a morning of fun and member appreciation at Bristol Total Fitness! We will be having class demos, fitness consults, kid's activities, raffles and prizes, and much more! Fourth Annual Katie Brienzo Memorial Walk 

Join us on Saturday, September 19th 2015 at the Our Lady of Angels Feast Grounds, located at 7 Jesse Street, Fairhaven. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles. Participants of all ages are welcome to join in! Registration is only $15, $20 day of the event. All proceeds from this event benefit the consumers of M.O.L.I.F.E., Inc., Katie's favorite charity. Registration begins at 11am and the walk begins at 12 noon, sharp! Mind Body Studios @ Total Fitness Clubs

Total Fitness for Women with Erin Ward 

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Erin Ward. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from you trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Erin will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and biweekly weigh ins and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Mix It Up with Dawn Casella

Break out of the monotony of the circuit by using TRX, cable weights, free weights, gliders and bands. For 6 weeks Dawn will motivate, keep you focused and accountable. The support and camaraderie from participants will keep you on track toward your fitness goals. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Fat Loss Fit Camp with Dave Parker

This 8-week program will combine training one on one, group workouts along with individualized nutritional coaching. Enjoy the camaraderie of group training but also a one on one session to help you improve your technique with exercises that will be used in the weekly group fit camps. Do you need that extra push or can't seem to get the fat loss your looking for? Dave has got you covered with challenging circuit style workouts that will help you reach your health and fitness goals!

TRX Suspension Training with Adriana Ferns

Break out from your old routine and join Adriana for this 8-week program. TRX is a form of suspension training used to perform total body workouts with exercises that engage your core, while using your own bodyweight for resistance. Adriana will use TRX to take your resistance training to a new level through functional and dynamic movements, perfect for any age and any fitness level. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Sugar Shakedown with Adriana Ferns

End the vicious circle of yo-yo diets and unhealthy patterns! For 12 weeks this program will help clean out the sugar from your body and help stop those carb cravings as well as craving those sweets. Meal plans, a grocery list, workouts and weekly weigh-ins/body fat measurements will be given throughout the program. With the support from Adriana and fellow participants, you will work and learn how to eat, live and maintain a healthy lifestyle. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Rock Your Resolution with Stacia Abdow

Stacia’s weight-loss challenge is an 8-week program to keep participants accountable to their New Year's Resolutions. The workout will be designed to be high intensity interval training. X-Training Plus with James Simmons

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 8-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build comraderie amongst the participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off. Elements of Fitness with David Roderick

Body Comp Clinic with Craig Costa

Remember that “good sore” feeling? Remember the excitement in your potential when you first began to exercise? Recapture it this summer in Craig’s Body Comp Clinic. This is a 10-week program designed to motivate and educate you to get you into the best shape of your life. Improve your strength and cardiovascular conditioning, and look as good as ever. The focus of this program will be on losing fat, not just body weight. You will be taught how to make permanent changes in your life. Weekly group training sessions will be held, as well as individual consultations including measurements, meal plan guidance, and personalized program development and maintenance. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Intro to Free Weights with Craig Costa

Join Craig for his 8-week program to help participants feel comfortable with working out with free weights in a non-intimidating atmosphere. Members that Inspire Us


Steve Secino joined in March 2014 and Kara MacIntyre joined Bristol Total Fitness in November 2012, she personal trains with Erin Ward. They both have shown nothing but dedication and commitment to staying healthy and being fit. Steve and Kara both commute over two hours a day and are busy planning their upcoming wedding, they still make time to come in and workout. Congratulations Steve and Kara! We wish you the best on your upcoming nuptials!

 

Nick Taber has been a member of Swansea Total Fitness since August 2012. Three years ago he weighed 280 lbs with 65% body fat. After joining the gym, working out three to four days a week along with changing his eating habits he is down to 185 lbs and 16% body fat. Nicks favorite exercise is anything cardio related, but feels he has also benefited from weight training. He says he has received so much support from the staff and members at SWTF. "There are so many inspiring stories here." Awesome job Nick!

 

Melissa Rego has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since 2012. She has made a remarkable lifestyle change since the beginning of 2015! In just over 6 months she has healthily lost 25 pounds to be a positive role model for her daughter. The saying “summer bodies are made in the winter” drives Melissa and there is no doubt that she feels more confident than before. Small changes like drinking more water and green tea along with staying away from processed food. Melissa has been running a lot and has a goal of running a half marathon soon! We know you can do it. Thanks for inspiring us!

 

Debbie and Landon Smith have been members at Dartmouth Total Fitness since 2011. They come in about 6 times a week! Debbie enjoys coming to the gym for training with Julie Fostin, and also likes her Fever Fit Program. Landon likes to play with the dinosaurs and dance in the daycare with his friends. He is always helpful cleaning up especially when it’s for his mom after Julie’s Fever Fit. Debbie’s tip for everyone is, “exercise in the morning before your brain figures out what you’re doing.” She thinks all the group exercise instructors are amazing and loves all the smiling faces to great her at the front desk.
