Open House at Dartmouth and Seekonk Total Fitness

Monday, April 15th through Saturday, April 20th bring your friends and family members to experience all that Dartmouth and Seekonk have to offer!

Group exercise classes are open to the public, come meet our trainers, take advantage of our referral program!

 

Walk MS (3 or 6 mile) and Run 5K - Bristol, RI Sunday, April 7th

Join the Total Fitness Team!
Start from Mount Hope HS through Colt State Park  for 6 Mile Walk or Start at Colt State Park 3 Mile Walk
Check in at Mount Hope High School for Number and T-shirt and then a bus will shuttle you to the start location.
Registration opens at 7am and the run begins at 8am

Jeff Costa's Hollywood Workout

Total Fitness would like to welcome Jeff Costa; Personal Fitness Coach to Hollywood celebrities including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Christina Applegate, Carmen Electra and Holly Madison.

90 minutes of high-energy music will set the stage for your body’s transformation: improve core strength, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility. Get ready to burn fat in this results-driven, cross-training experience focused on functional strength by fusing calisthenics, core training, balance training, cardio and yoga!

Time:
Saturday, April 13th @ 11:30am

Cost: $10 to participate for members and non-members

Shaun's FIT CAMP

Expand your training repertoire. Shaun is instructing an 8 Week program that focuses not only on high intensity, but it also includes circuit training with an emphasis on Olympic Lifting, body weight exercises, and conditioning. Reserve your spot! This program has a 4 Person Max per session.

Time:
Tuesdays @ 6:30PM April 2nd - May 28th
Saturdays @ 10AM April 6th - June 1st

Cost: $130 for 8 Weeks, $260 to attend both sessions for 8 Weeks

Erin's 10K Training Program

Have you completed a 5K and feel ready to challenge yourself to a 10K? Or looking to improve your 10K time? This program is designed to help you train properly to complete 6.2 miles, and feel great doing it! Receive a comprehensive training program, heart rate monitoring instruction, support from your coach and team, as well as nutritional advice and injury prevention guidelines. This program ends with the Fathers' Day 10K race in Fairhaven.

Time:
Saturdays April 20th- Race Day! Sunday June 16th Time TBD

Cost: $130 for 8 Weeks

TRX Suspension Training 8 Week WorkshopsTRX Suspension Training at Bristol Total Fitness

Break out from your old routine and join us for TRX Suspension Training - the bodyweight exercise that trains your body for how you move in life. Your instructor will challenge you each time while keeping this program for all levels. If you're ready to kick it into high gear try Saturdays class - TURBO TRX.

TF for Women with Gina SilvaTotal Fitness for Women

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Gina Silva. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from you trainer, Gina, and group will help you reach your goals. Gina will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and biweekly weigh ins and measurements to keep your progress on track.   
 
Time:  
Tuesdays @ 6:00-7:00pm April 30th - June 18th
Thursdays  @ 9:00-10:00am May 2nd - June 20th

Shredded Summer Workshop with Adriana Ferns1/2 Marathon Training Program

If you’re at a standstill in your workout and want to get ripped up for the summer this small group training will get you there. With everything from tire flipping, plyometrics and high intensity strength training. If you’re tired of standing around with your buddies for hours getting minimal results, this class is for you!

Mondays @ 7:00am or 5:00pm - April 8th - May 27th

30/30 Pilates with Dawn Casella

Get a true feel for what Pilates can do for you! In this 60 minute class, you will work on the Pilates equipment for 30 minutes and do mat work for 30 minutes. You will receive a total body workout!

Tuesdays @ 5:30pm  April 9th – May 14th
Or Thursdays @ 8:00am  April 11th – May 16th

Pilates Revival with Dawn Casella

This six-week workshop is for those who want to either get back into Pilates or hone their Pilates practice. Basic Pilates principals will be used to strengthen muscles, improve balance and increase overall health & wellness. This workshop is perfect for clients rehabilitating injuries or the client who wants to ease into a workout program. For those interested in a career in Personal Training:

We are happy to introduce a new program for those interested in Personal Training at MTTI Education for Employment in Seekonk, MA. Total Fitness's, Jen Morin has worked with MTTI on the development of the program & will be the course instructor. MTTI is a technical training school that emphasizes the “hands-on” approach to learning and in this program, students will have hands-on-experience working with gym equipment right in our Seekonk Total Fitness location.

Members that Inspire Us


Member of the Month Bristol Total Fitness 2013Caitlin Niemic has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since August 2011 and has definitely earned her way to Member of the Month. Caitlin is no stranger to the Group Exercise room, often taking two classes in one day. She loves taking Adriana’s Boot Camp and Total Body Circuit classes and is an avid Spinner. Caitlin is the Training Coordinator at US Sailing and we are sure that burpees keep her in tip-top sailing shape! Congrats Caitlin and keep it up!
 
Member of the Month Swansea Total Fitness 2013Kacie Stafford has been a member of Swansea Total Fitness since 2007. In 2010, she participated in the Winter Weight Loss Challenge to shed some pounds and get fit. After losing 10 lbs and completing her first 5k, Kacie fell in love with running. Since then, she’s been working towards new goals with the help of SWTF’s Trainer, Kevin Fusi. Currently, Kacie is preparing to run her first half marathon this upcoming May. Great job Kacie! Keep up the good work!
 
Jon Cunningham and Jennifer Collins have been members of Seekonk Total Fitness since February 2012. Their jobs and desire to stay healthy motivate them to workout. You can see this dynamic duo here 5 to 6 days a week. Though they come in together they like to do their separate workouts. Jennifer is a cardio buff, while Jon likes to mix it up and do everything. Jon is Jennifer's motivator to stay longer. She gives that extra cardio push and goes a little bit longer while he finishes his workout. What a great team! Way to go guys!
 
Member of the Month Dartmouth Total Fitness 2013Shaun Phelan has been a member since before we were Dartmouth Total Fitness, over 3 years ago. One of our nighthawks, Shaun wished he were a morning person, but we enjoy seeing him anytime! His motivations to come work out after the day is done (for most!) are to stay healthy, lose weight, and stress relief. “Getting here is half the battle, I try not to stay on the couch too long after dinner.” We admire how Shaun sticks with it, even when the Celtics are having it rough. Thank you, Shaun, for being a great April pick for Member of the Month.
