Bristol Total Fitness Blood Drive

Bristol Total Fitness is hosting a Blood Drive for the Rhode Island Blood Center. The blood center distributes blood products to hospitals in Rhode Island and Southern New England. Don't forget to bring your drivers license or another form of ID when you donate. For your generous donation, you will receive a FREE Shake.

Free Sunrise Yoga at Rockwell Park with Laura Giannotti
 
Evolution Pilates Studio and Bristol Parks & Recreation are bringing you FREE Sunrise Yoga. Bring your yoga mat and be prepared to start your day feeling refreshed! Liability waiver must be filled out prior to participating.

FREE Summer Bootcamp with Adriana Ferns

Yes, Bristol Total Fitness and Bristol Parks & Recreation is still continuing with our FREE Boot Camp! Our second installment will be the same day, same time, DIFFERENT location. Beginning June 14th, the boot camp will be held at the Bristol Town Common (across the street from Reynolds School). Wear your workout gear and be prepared to sweat!

Join us for the Third Annual Katie Brienzo Memorial Walk 

Join us on Saturday, September 13, 2013 at the Our Lady of Angels Feast Grounds, located at 7 Jesse Street, Fairhaven. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles. Participants of all ages are welcome to join in! Registration is only $15, $20 day of the event. ALL proceeds from this event benefit the consumers of M.O.L.I.F.E., Inc., Katie's favorite charity. Registration begins at 11am and the walk begins at 12 noon, sharp! There will be entertainment, raffles, and fun following the walk. Registration forms are available at the font desk of Dartmouth Total Fitness.

Scrambler Bootcamp with Adriana Ferns

An outdoor boot camp at Colt State Park to prepare for obstacle training leading to the Tough Scrambler. Even if you do not want to compete in the Scrambler, you are still welcome to participate in the workshop. The Tough Scrambler is October 18th. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Monday @ 5:45am - 6:45am, Sep 8th - Oct 13th
Wednesday @ 5:45am - 6:45am, Sep 10th - Oct 15th

Cost: $100 1x per week, $200 2x per week

Police Academy with Adriana Ferns

A small group workshop geared towards local police officers who want to improve their fitness, nutrition and overall health. Perhaps challenge the local fire department in the near future. Bring it on!

Hurricane Training with Erin Carr

Join Erin for her 8 week program where you will burn fat, build muscle, and feel great! You will receive one group session per week and two half hour personal training sessions tailored to fit your specific goals, along with nutritional advice. Metabolic strength training sessions that will bring you to the next level. Erin will also provide you with a workout for non-meeting days. Goal Setting + Accountability = Results!

Tuesday @ 6:30pm - 7:30pm, Aug 5th - Sep 23rd
Friday @ 6:30pm - 7:30pm, Aug 8th - Sep 26th

My First 5k at Colt State Park with Erin Carr

Have you always wanted to run a 5k but are not quite sure how to go about it? Starting from scratch to accomplish an athletic goal is not always easy. With Erin's expertise she will keep you motivated and help you take the right steps to run your first 5k in 12 weeks successfully.

Colt State Park Half Marathon Training Program with Erin Carr

Set your goals higher this fall! Join Erin and her running group to train for the Colt State Park Half Marathon on Nov 9th. She will prepare a 12 week training program that will include a strength training routine and a running schedule. You'll meet one time per week for group runs where Erin will help you to improve your running technique. Finally, you'll receive nutritional advice, accountability and group comradery that will help you stay focused as you prepare to complete 13.1 miles!

Summer Fever Fit with Julie Fostin

Catch the fever! Make progress and mix up your routine with circuit strength training, cardio intervals and more. Join Julie for 8 weeks of fun in the sun with indoor/outdoor routines that will keep you accountable and challenged. Including, weekly dietary guidelines and recipes!

Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and biweekly weigh ins and measurements to keep your progress on track.

Members that Inspire Us


Paul Stroessner has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since October 2012. Paul’s main goal, was simply to lose weight and get in shape. Realizing he needed a push, he started training with Adriana back in October of 2013. Since then, he has lost over 20 lbs, has ran his first 5k (since high school), and has completed his first Tuff Scrambler, back in May! His favorite workout is running and when he isn’t here training or running outside, he enjoys spending time with his wife and writing. Thank you Paul for showing us that hard work and dedication can and will show results! Congratulations!!

 

Cynthia Greenlees joined Swansea Total Fitness a year ago in August 2013, and has been training with Greg Annarummo. She says, “Greg helps me walk into the gym. He is the main reason I keep coming back because he is always supporting me, encouraging me, and motivating me to be better. Greg gets me going with push ups, which are my favorite! My best achievement so far from working with him has been losing inches. For the first time in ten years, I feel all around healthy!” Cindy, you are an inspiration to us all. Your smiling face and positive attitude motivates us to better ourselves too. Congratulations Cindy! We are all very proud of you!

 
Cheryl Zielinski has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since July 2014. This year she made a commitment to her health after losing a dear friend to cancer. A breast cancer survivor herself, Cheryl wanted to develop a healthy lifestyle. Having a support system of friends and family to cheer her on has helped Cheryl lose weight, increase her energy and strength. Taking classes like Group Power and Spin as well as weekly training sessions with Tammy Kappes “feels like more fun than work!” Your transformation is so motivating to all of us and we love cheering you on!
 

Christine Cavaco has been a member of Dartmouth Total Fitness since July 2012. She enjoys lifting weights because it helps not only with muscle tone but the skeletal system as well. Christine loves Spin classes and attributes her improved stamina, core strength and muscle endurance in her legs to spin. Christine would like to give kudos in particularly to Laura, Julie, Mike and Rob for being so inspiring and motivating with their high energy and positive approach. She would also like to note that all of the staff members are welcoming, knowledgeable. The staff would like to thank Christine for her kind words, dedication to fitness and her positive attitude!
