NOTICE TO SEEKONK TOTAL FITNESS MEMBERS

Due to unresolved

structural plumbing issues,

Seekonk Total Fitness is Permanently Closed

Unfortunately, we have tried to work with the landlord to repair the severe structural plumbing issues. However, there has been no plan or action from the landlord to resolve these issues. At this point, we have no other option aside from permanently closing the Seekonk location.

 

What should you do? Below are two options to help you decide:

 

  • Continue using Total Fitness Clubs locations: Any Seekonk Total Fitness members who wish to use Swansea, Bristol or Dartmouth may scan in using their current key tag to any other locations. Your membership gives you access to all locations, equipment and group exercise classes. Some of the equipment and layout may be different and we will be providing a complimentary demonstration with a trainer to get you acclimated and help towards your goals

 

  • Cancel membership: If you are unable to use either the Swansea, Bristol, or Dartmouth locations and would like to completely cancel your membership, please fill out a cancelation form at any of our locations or email info@totalfitnessclubs.com. The 30-day notice to cancel will be waived for any Seekonk Total Fitness members who choose this option.

 

  • Pre-paid short-term memberships: If you have paid in full for a short term membership (6 Months or Year pre-paid), the balance of your membership time will be automatically honored at our Swansea, Bristol, and Dartmouth locations. If you are unable to use these locations, please email info@totalfitnessclubs.comto arrange a refund or to freeze.

 

We understand that this may cause an inconvenience for you. We hope that you will continue working towards your goals at our other locations. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding in this challenging time.

NOTICE TO SEEKONK TOTAL FITNESS MEMBERS

Due to structural plumbing issues,

Seekonk Total Fitness will be closed until further notice, starting Monday December 31st 2018.

Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of a process beyond our control regarding any potential re-opening date. As the landlord works on the planning, financing, and completion of this repair, we will keep all members informed along the way.
We are terribly sorry for this inconvenience and encourage all members to use our Swansea, Bristol, and Dartmouth locations. We plan on adding additional classes to our Swansea schedule to help accommodate several cancelled Seekonk classes. Our trainers, instructors and staff will be joining these other clubs during this time and we hope you will too.

  • Temporarily Freeze membership: If you want to place your Seekonk Total Fitness Clubs membership on hold while the repairs are being done, please fill out a freeze form at any of our locations or email info@totalfitnessclubs.com . We can arrange to keep your membership on hold until repairs are complete ($5 freeze fee will be waived)
  • Cancel membership: If you are unable to use either the Swansea, Bristol, or Dartmouth locations and would like to completely cancel your membership, please fill out a cancelation form at any of our locations or email info@totalfitnessclubs.com. A Rhode Island tradition, the Polar Plunge on New Year's Day has raised much-needed funds over the years to help A Wish Come True grant the wishes of children ages 3-18 who live in Rhode Island and areas of Southeastern Massachusetts. Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Workouts will consist of weight, balance and flexibility training with cardio intervals to focus on core strength. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Men of Iron with Walter Medeiros

Barbell Club with David Roderick

Barbell Club is an 8-week program designed to teach you barbell based movements with proper form and technique. This training will improve strength, range of motion and overall fitness. Participants will squat and press every week to emphasize technique and strength while improving core stability, balance, and mobility. Whether you are an enthusiast, competitor or somewhere in between all levels are welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Carolyn Thomas joined Seekonk Total Fitness in January 2012. She has always been into fitness, enjoys taking group fitness classes and personal training with Laurie. Carolyn feels stronger mentally and physically. She is also her husband's caregiver and has benefited from her training to keep her healthy and strong. Carolyn's goals now are to continue with the classes, training, maintaining balance, and flexibility. Besides spending quality time with her family, she loves traveling with her girlfriends, volunteering as an usher at Trinity Rep., reading and mall walking. Congratulation Carolyn!
