Fitness Revival with Dawn CasellaFitness Revival with Dawn Casella

Are you sick of going through the circuit #1-10 every week? Do you want to do more but think group classes will be too much for you? Do you enjoy working out with others of the same fitness level as you? Have you been away for a while and need a jump start? Fitness Revival is designed to step up your workout by incorporating basic strength training and cardiovascular training. Nutrition and proper stretching technique will also be incorporated into the 6 week training program. This class will guide you through the steps to get to the next level of fitness. Group training is designed as a more affordable way to get the training you need to progress your workout safely.

TRX Suspension Training 8 Week WorkshopsTRX Suspension Training at Bristol Total Fitness

Break out from your old routine and join us for TRX Suspension Training - the bodyweight exercise that trains your body for how you move in life. Your instructor will challenge you each time while keeping this program for all levels.

Tuesdays @ 9-10am March 5th - April 23rd with Beth @ Seekonk
Mondays @ 6:30-7:30pm March 11th - April 29th with Gina S. @ Seekonk

TF for Women with Erin WardTotal Fitness for Women

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Erin Ward. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from you trainer, Erin, and group will help you reach your goals. Erin will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and biweekly weigh ins and measurements to keep your progress on track.   
 
Time: 
Mondays @ 6:30-7:30pm March 4th - April 22nd
Tuesdays @ 10-11am March 5th - April 23rd
Saturday @ 7-8am March 9th - April 27th

The Tough Terrain Workshop with Adriana Ferns1/2 Marathon Training Program

Have you ever wanted to do an obstacle course race such as the Tough Mudder? In this 8 week workshop Adriana will train you to conquer  all obstacles.

Girls Club Fitness with Rhonda Goldman

This 8 week program is for women of all fitness abilities who desire to challenge themselves, meet new friends, and have fun. Rhonda will get your workouts going using TRX, weights, plyometrics, and body resistance.

Time:
Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm March 20th - May 8th
Thursdays 10-11am March 21st - May 9th
Saturdays 7-8am March 23rd - May 11th

Free Pilates Reformer Series at EVOLUTION Pilates

Do you suffer from back pain, tight muscles, poor posture, or weak abdominal muscles? Pilates has been proven to improve all of these conditions. We are offering a FREE 4-week series to all TFC Members* during the month of March.  This series will familiarize you with the Pilates equipment and help you feel the many benefits Pilates offers.  Register online at http://www.evolutionri.com/ or just sign up at one of the Total Fitness locations!  We can only accept 6 participants, so be sure to sign up now!

For those interested in a career in Personal Training:

We are happy to introduce a new program for those interested in Personal Training at MTTI Education for Employment in Seekonk, MA. Total Fitness's, Jen Morin has worked with MTTI on the development of the program & will be the course instructor. MTTI is a technical training school that emphasizes the “hands-on” approach to learning and in this program, students will have hands-on-experience working with gym equipment right in our Seekonk Total Fitness location.

Members that Inspire Us


Member of the Month Bristol Total Fitness 2013Andrea and Peter Johnson have been members of Bristol Total Fitness since February 2006. Peter told us that he and Andrea have always been health conscious, watching their diets and sticking to an exercise routine.  “When we were working, we didn’t have the time to exercise as much as we wanted.  So, when we retired, eleven years ago, we decided that health and fitness would be our priority. We have remained faithful to our exercise routine, which is easy to do with the welcoming staff and wonderful members of BTF.” Andrea and Peter are looking fit and fabulous!
 
Member of the Month Swansea Total Fitness 2013Marcel Gadbois, a member of Swansea Total Fitness since 2001, often put work and family ahead of his own health and fitness. After gaining some weight and being treated for high blood pressure, Marcel decided to make a change. In 2007 he began eating healthy and coming to SWTF 6-7 days a week, which helped him lose 25lbs. He is now at the point where he hasn’t needed to take a pill for his blood pressure in over 2 yrs. Feeling great mentally and physically after a workout is what keeps Marcel going. That, and looking forward to a long, healthy and happy life watching his grandchildren grow up!
 
Member of the Month Seekonk Total Fitness 2013Scott Candon has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since June of 2010.  He started his journey with Seekonk Total Fitness as a student doing the student summer special. When he came home from college he joined as a full member. You can see Scott at the gym working hard at least five times a week. He likes to mix up his workouts by doing a combination of cardio and weight lifting. He enjoys jogging outside with his dog (when it is not snowing!) but also enjoys using the treadmill. Scott uses free weights as well as our circuit machines to get a full body workout. Congratulations Scott and keep up the hard work!
 
Member of the Month Dartmouth Total Fitness 2013Matt Nowick and Peg Crowley have been training with our Shaun Monteiro for over 2 years at Dartmouth Total Fitness. This husband wife duo work out together, and it helps them stay motivated, “especially when the alarm goes off in the morning”. We admire their effort and support system. Matt and Peg are currently training for the Tough Mudder in August. Peg says “stay consistent”, working out is something that you have to keep at, always changing/progressing. We are happy to have them as our Members of the Month, and even happier to cheer them on until race day!
