Get Off Your Can 5K

Saturday, May 11th at 8:30am join Total Fitness at the Get Off Your Can 5K. Total Fitness will be there to cheer you on and provide fruit and water for the runners. We will have a few members volunteering with us as well! Come see us and “Get Off Your Can” to support a great cause! Sign up here!

 

Swansea Total Fitness Trainer Challenge

Greg Annarummo's 50/50 Challenge - Each member must complete 50 push ups and 50 air squats. The male and female who finish the 50/50 challenge in the shortest time will win a Total Fitness T-Shirt, a Total Fitness Water Bottle, and 5 Large Protein Shakes.

Times for challenge: Mondays 8am-9am and Thursdays 4:30am-6pm.
Best times will be announced at the end of the month, so try it often to improve your time.

Fitness Revival with Dawn CasellaFitness Revival with Dawn Casella

Are you sick of going through the circuit #1-10 every week? Do you want to do more but think group classes will be too much for you? Do you enjoy working out with others of the same fitness level as you? Have you been away for a while and need a jump start? Fitness Revival is designed to step up your workout by incorporating basic strength training and cardiovascular training. Nutrition and proper stretching technique will also be incorporated into the 6 week training program. This class will guide you through the steps to get to the next level of fitness. Group training is designed as a more affordable way to get the training you need to progress your workout safely.

TRX Suspension Training 8 Week WorkshopsTRX Suspension Training at Bristol Total Fitness

Break out from your old routine and join us for TRX Suspension Training - the bodyweight exercise that trains your body for how you move in life. Your instructor will challenge you each time while keeping this program for all levels. Total Fitness for WomenTotal Fitness for Women

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainers, Gina Silva & Erin Ward. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from you trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Your trainer will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and biweekly weigh ins and measurements to keep your progress on track.

Summer Sizzle at Colt State Park

This 8 week program, with certified personal trainer Adriana Ferns, is an outdoor total body workout with everything from running, plyometrics, to partner and equipment exercises. In just an hour you can really take your fitness to the next level. Take advantage of the weather and start the day off right.

Mondays @ 5:45-6:45am May 6th - June 24th
Tuesdays @ 5:45-6:45am June 4th - July 23rd

Location: This workshop will meet at the statue opposite the pier at Colt State Park in Bristol.

 

Adriana's Beach Body Boot CampTotal Fitness for Women

This 8 week workshop is a combination of TRX Suspension Training and Boot Camp to get you into tip top shape for the beach body you've always dreamed of. Adriana will get you there by mixing it up each week from burpees to taking it outside to doing one-legged squats on the TRX.

Sue's Summer Boot Camp

Sue Adams will be running an 8-week workshop using a combination of weight training and boot camp exercises. Designed to whip you into shape just in time for summer. Includes nutritional advice and weekly weigh-ins.

Total Body Focus with Erin Ward 

This workshop will focus on the upper body for the first 4 weeks and the lower body for the last 4 weeks. Any and all Pilates equipment may be used. This promises to be a complete body workout.

Members that Inspire Us


Member of the Month Bristol Total Fitness 2013Alicia Dimasi-Peters has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since February 2005 and Jennifer Watts has been a member since July 2009. Future sisters-in-law, Alicia and Jen are committed to fitness and staying healthy. There is hardly a day that goes by that we don’t see these two in the gym. No strangers of the weight room, these two really work hard in all aspects of fitness, whether it’s taking classes like Upper Body Blitz or doing their own circuits. Consistency is key and Alicia and Jen are pros!
 
Member of the Month Swansea Total Fitness 2013Ed has been a member at Swansea Total Fitness since 2010. He can be seen every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the gym with his 2 workout buddies, Stanley and Marjorie. Ed turned 91 years young this March, and continues to stay motivated with his fitness goals. He is an inspiration to us all; and he proves that a healthy lifestyle leads to a long and happy life!
 
Walter has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since January 2013 and has lost 34 ½ pounds! He works out 3 to 4 times a week. His workouts consist of cardio, weight training and attending Abs Express, Cross-Ventional & Performance Power. Jokingly Walter said he looks forward to the PAIN that Kevin Levesque his trainer inflicts on him. Also the continuous “feeling better”, healthier, happier and more energetic has become part of his motivation. He added that SKTF offers true results and a dedicated staff to help all members achieve their goals. Congratulations Walter!
 
Member of the Month Dartmouth Total Fitness 2013Edi Butts has been a member at Dartmouth Total Fitness since January 2011, when her niece brought her in. She started working with our Trainer Adriana Ferns and continued on with our Total Fitness for Women Program. Edi said “the girls” and the Staff keep her motivated. She has lost weight and has more energy. Most importantly, she is enjoying exercise! She has fun in Spinning and Matt’s Boot Camp, all while training for her first 10K with our Trainer Erin Carr. We admire her attitude and love that she continues to take on new challenges. She throws a “shout out” to her husband Steve for his support. Congratulations Edi!
