Free Octoberfest Boot Camp

Bristol Total Fitness and Bristol Parks & Recreation are teaming up to create a healthier community again. Come join us for the second series of boot camp in the park. It's the "Free Octoberfest Boot Camp @ Independence Park". Saturdays @ 7am-8am Sept. 14th- Oct. 26th. In case of extreme weather, we will bring it indoors to Bristol Total Fitness. See you there! Bring your family and friends. It is free to the public.

 

Join us for the Second Annual Katie Brienzo Memorial Walk 

Join us on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Our Lady of Angels Feast Grounds, located at 7 Jesse Street, Fairhaven. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles. Participants of all ages are welcome to join in! Registration is only $15, $20 day of the event. ALL proceeds from this event benefit the consumers of M.O.L.I.F.E., Inc., Katie's favorite charity. Registration begins at 11am and the walk begins at 12 noon, sharp! There will be entertainment, raffles, and fun following the walk. You can Pre-Register by downloading the Registration Form.

Walt's Weight Loss ChallengeFitness Revival with Dawn Casella

Join Walter for this 10 week weight loss challenge. Receive weekly 60 minute one-on-one training, group training sessions, a meal plan, and a progressive exercise regiment. With weekly weigh-ins and nutritional classes you will be well on your way to being the best version of you. You can expect to lose at the very least 12% if you commit the time to the Diet and Exercise program. All Participants will be screened to ensure that this is the right program for them. If you have the dedication and commitment this is the way to lose that unwanted weight. If you have any questions contact Walter - waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Total Fitness For Women with Stacia Abdow 

Ladies, join Stacia this Fall in this 8 Week Small Group Training program. Refresh your workouts with a plan. Sue's Senior Clinic

Tired of the same old exercises and the same old routine? Sign up at the front desk for this 8 week group training clinic that will meet for one hour each week. Sue will educate you on new variations of exercises to keep you fit! It will be focused on strength, stability, & balance using different components in the gym instead of the same old thing.

Tough Scrambler Training Camp with Adriana Ferns

Adriana will be taking this group through the obstacles of a Tough Scrambler. There will be no surprises while you are competing but there will be in the training! This 5 week training camp will get you ready for the day of the event - October 19th!

Mondays @ 5:45-6:45am September 16th - October 14th

Fitness Revival with Dawn Casella 

Are you sick of going through the circuit #1-10 every week? Do you want to do more but think group classes will be too much for you? Do you enjoy working out with others of the same fitness level as you? Have you been away for a while and need a jump start? Fitness Revival is designed to step up your workout by incorporating basic strength training and cardiovascular training. Nutrition and proper stretching technique will also be incorporated into the 6 week training program. This class will guide you through the steps to get to the next level of fitness. Group training is designed as a more affordable way to get the training you need to progress your workout safely.

Wednesdays @ 7:00-8:00am September 10th - October 16th
Thursdays @ 6:30-7:30pm September 26th - October 31st

Total Fitness for Women with Erin Ward

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Erin Ward. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from you trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Erin will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and biweekly weigh ins and measurements to keep your progress on track.

Mondays @ 6:30-7:30pm September 9th - October 28th
Tuesdays @ 10:00-11:00am September 10th - October 29th

Slim & Sculpt Pilates Reformer with Dawn Casella

Looking to Slim & Sculpt that body? In this 6 week workshop Dawn will provide you with nutrition handouts and food list on the very 1st day. Each week you will weigh in and log your diets so Dawn can review them outside of class. Whether you're looking to drop a few pounds or just get that Pilates body look, Dawn will give you the tools to build a long lean Pilates body!

Fridays @ 6:00-7:00am September 27th-November 1st

Cost: $100 for Total Fitness Member, $115 for Non-Member

Pilates Revival with Dawn Casella

This six-week workshop is for those who want to either get back into Pilates or hone their Pilates practice. Basic Pilates principals will be used to strengthen muscles, improve balance and increase overall health & wellness. This workshop is perfect for clients rehabilitating injuries or the client who wants to ease into a workout program.

Members that Inspire Us


Member of the Month Bristol Total Fitness 2013

Mary has been a Bristol Total Fitness member since April 2009. She started training with Erin Ward in January. Not long ago, Mary was informed of an impingement in her left shoulder, but she has not allowed that to stop her from obtaining her goals. You can find Mary here 5 to 6 times a week! With her determination and focus on her health and body, she plans on competing in bodybuilding. In January of 2014 she is attending “Savage Girls” camp. Congratulations, Mary, and thank you for showing what determination and focus can help us achieve!!

 
Member of the Month Swansea Total Fitness 2013

Julie Sudol has been a member of Swansea Total Fitness since the beginning of this year. She became a life long runner at the young age of 10. Her goal is to run 50 half marathons in 50 states. So far, Julie has completed four. They took place in New Hampshire, Vermont, Miami, and she even completed the Lake Placid, NY half marathon while pregnant with her daughter! Running used to be what defined Julie, but now it’s being a mom. However, Julie continues to find time for herself and running. Congratulations Julie and keep up the hard work!  

 

Jerry Humm has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since November 2012. He has been working out for over 35 years and after a long running career decided he needed to hit the weights to gain strength. Jerry began running in his early 30’s and ran the Boston Marathon in under 3 hours! He can be seen on the training floor doing pull-ups like a champ! In his free time he enjoys kayaking and golf. Jerry is proof that you can maintain a healthy and fun lifestyle for a lifetime!

 

 
Brandy Scheibner joined Dartmouth Total Fitness 1 ½ years ago. She started because she had lost weight and wanted to continue to improve her health and fitness. Brandy has tried a lot of what we have to offer. She trains with Dave Parker and notes that she sees results and enjoys working out with him. You can find her pulling along Paulo to Monday night’s Spinning or catch her at one of Matt’s Boot Camps. When she is not getting her butt kicked here, she runs B’s Flowers out of New Bedford. We love that Brandy strives to continue to make herself stronger and healthier by trying new things. Congratulations Brandy!
