NOTICE TO SEEKONK TOTAL FITNESS MEMBERS

Due to unresolved

structural plumbing issues,

Seekonk Total Fitness is Permanently Closed

Unfortunately, we have tried to work with the landlord to repair the severe structural plumbing issues. However, there has been no plan or action from the landlord to resolve these issues. At this point, we have no other option aside from permanently closing the Seekonk location.

 

What should you do? Below are two options to help you decide:

 

  • Continue using Total Fitness Clubs locations: Any Seekonk Total Fitness members who wish to use Swansea, Bristol or Dartmouth may scan in using their current key tag to any other locations. Your membership gives you access to all locations, equipment and group exercise classes. Some of the equipment and layout may be different and we will be providing a complimentary demonstration with a trainer to get you acclimated and help towards your goals

 

  • Cancel membership: If you are unable to use either the Swansea, Bristol, or Dartmouth locations and would like to completely cancel your membership, please fill out a cancelation form at any of our locations or email info@totalfitnessclubs.com. The 30-day notice to cancel will be waived for any Seekonk Total Fitness members who choose this option.

 

  • Pre-paid short-term memberships: If you have paid in full for a short term membership (6 Months or Year pre-paid), the balance of your membership time will be automatically honored at our Swansea, Bristol, and Dartmouth locations. If you are unable to use these locations, please email info@totalfitnessclubs.comto arrange a refund or to freeze.

 

We understand that this may cause an inconvenience for you. We hope that you will continue working towards your goals at our other locations. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding in this challenging time.

Total donations from our annual Total Fitness Clubs fundraiser Pedal to End Cancer- 78 participants raised over $12,000 for the American Cancer Society through this year's event! We're especially proud of Total Fitness Member, Linda Manchester who was the Top 'Pedal to End Cancer 2018' Fundraiser in all of New England, for raising $975.00!"

We will be collecting pet supplies such as cleaning products, office supplies, etc. to donate to animals in need. Any donations can be put in our box located in the foyer. Melissa Pavao joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in July 2017. She attends the gym 2-3 times per week and enjoys Wendy’s Abs Express class along with personal training with Erica Morency, and Teeana Rivera. Melissa is seeing great results and is pushing herself to levels she didn’t think she could reach! Her fitness tip is “Be patient, stay positive, results will come if you stay committed!” Working out has increased Melissa's self-confidence along with her energy levels. She would like to give a shout out to Daycare Staff, Brittnie and Michayla, who are always wonderful with her daughter which makes her at ease while working out!

Chris Souza joined Swansea Total Fitness in August of 2016. Her favorite part of the week is personal training with Jim Nolan and taking group exercise classes. "Each has something different to offer like intense work in Warrior Strength, endurance in Group Power, balance in Stability Ball, and challenging moves in Barre class". Chris has successfully lost 14lbs and her strength and stamina have improved dramatically. Chris would like to thank Jim for his supportive attitude that helps her push herself. "If you hear a woman growling on the floor, it’s probably me and it’s thanks to Jim that I’m working so hard".

Men of Iron with Walter Medeiros

This 8-week results driven strength training program for men focuses on total body fitness. Walter uses the science of muscle confusion to get you in the best shape of your life by constantly challenging your body with new moves each week. Kevin Faria joined Swansea Total Fitness in January 2017. He likes to work out five times a week and he enjoys training bi’s and tri’s. Since joining, Kevin has been able to lose 20 pounds and gain muscle. He claims that diet is extremely important and involved in 80% of the process. “You can’t train away a bad diet”. Kevin believes that people make time for what they feel is important, and make excuses for the things they feel are not. He enjoys working out at SWTF because the staff is great and the gym is clean. Couch to 5k with Julie Fostin

Have you always wanted to run a 5k but just don’t know how to go about it? Now is your chance! Join this outdoor 8-week training at Buttonwood Park with participants that are just starting out just like you. Training will include an assessment before and after, a group training session, and 5k homework. Julie’s goal for you is to join her to run/walk/jog and finish the Fairhaven Father's Day Road Race. Has this always been on your bucket list, time to cross it off.

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. Victoria Pires and John Otero joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in April 2018. They attend the gym 5-6 times per week. They both enjoy Spinning and Group Power classes, in addition to, “Fever Fit” with Personal Trainer, Julie Fostin. Victoria and John participated in Julie’s "Couch to 5K" program last fall and they completed their first 5K on Thanksgiving Day! Outdoor Tuff Training with Adriana Ferns

Ready to tackle a new and exciting goal this year? This is it! This 8-week outdoor group training will prepare you for your next race. Ray Masse joined Bristol Total Fitness in January 2002. He enjoys working out five days a week. Ray's exercise routine includes 45 minutes of cardio on the treadmill followed by upper and lower body weight training. When he started his working out, he lost 15 lbs. and added lean muscle. Ray is fit and feeling great at 76 yrs. old! His health tip: “It’s never too late to start a fitness program, even for advanced-aged folks like me!” and even his doctor has said “keep doing what you’re doing! Ray added how much he likes the gym and the friendly, hassle-free environment. Congratulations, Ray!
