GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Club Wide Coat Drive

Total Fitness Clubs are teaming up with The United Way in the month of January to help our local families in need. There will be a bin at each club where you can place your gently used or new coats. Join us to help our community stay warm during the winter months. All coats will be donated to local families.

As a Thank You - Every person who donates coats will receive a Gift Card for a Free Protein Shake. Open to the general public.

DSSRI Spin/Zumba Fundraiser:

Join Bristol Total Fitness Instructors, Peggy & Carol Ann for this fun charity event to raise funds for the Downs Syndrome Society of Rhode Island, 100% of donations go to DSSRI. All levels of fitness are welcome and this event is open to the public.

Pedal To End Cancer

Pedal to End Cancer, formerly Spin for Hope, is a three-hour SPINNING event taking place simultaneously at participating health clubs around New England. 100% of the contributions go directly to the American Cancer Society!

This is really just a giant Spin Party for a great cause! With over 78 participants last year, Total Fitness raised over $12,000 for the ACS through this event!

Private Yoga Sessions with Adriana Ferns

Private sessions are the perfect way to individualize your Yoga practice along with making it ideal for your body and mind. Adriana can assist the beginner to the more advanced participant with technique to make you feel comfortable in any Yoga setting. A private session allows an individual to set specific goals and plans, such as personal goals for flexibility, strength or meditation.

Train Like a Pro with Michael Mullen

This 8-week group training is for anyone from the high school athlete who is looking to get a step up in their competition, to a fantasy football manager who gets frustrated every Sunday and yells at the tv “come on, I could do that”. This class is designed with drills and exercises that the pros and top division 1 athletes do every day. Focusing on speed, agility, and hand-eye coordination, cardio exercises include ladder drills, cone drills, quick feet, medicine balls and more. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Walk this Weigh with Andrea Chase

This 8-week functional training program will combine power walking, hill climbing and strength training for weight loss and/or overall wellness. Each week Andrea will challenge you by increasing the intensity to help you improve your endurance, balance and coordination along with your emotional well-being in a fun and encouraging environment. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Metabolic Mondays with Erin Ward

Join Erin for the 4-week training that utlizes all three energy systems to rev up your metabolism. Exercises are multi-joint with the purpose of using as much muscle as possible in a short period of time. This creates a larger metabolic response, therefore burning more calories, toning the body and promoting fat loss. Commitment = Results! All levels of fitness welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

School Teacher Training with Adriana Ferns

Calling All School Teachers! This 8-week program is for teachers who want to get their workouts in right after school lets out. Adriana will give you the structure, guidance and stress relief you need a the end of your busy day. Meal plan outline, bi-weekly weigh-ins and body fat tracking upon request to keep you accountable and on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Sugar Shakedown with Adriana Ferns

This could be the year you break the sugar cycle! For 12 weeks this program will help clean out the sugar from your body and help stop those carb cravings as well as craving those sweets. Meal plans; a grocery list, workouts, and weekly weigh-ins/body fat measurements will be given throughout the program. With support from Adriana and fellow participants, you will work and learn how to eat, live and maintain a healthy lifestyle. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Agility & Balance Training with Adriana Ferns

Yoga Training with Adriana Ferns

Have you wanted to take a yoga class but felt you didn’t know enough about it? This 4-week Vinyasa Yoga style training is geared towards people who want to learn the basics and/or to improve form. Total Fitness for Women with Erin WardErin Ward

Total Fitness for Women is a group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Erin Ward. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. MEMBERS THAT INSPIRE US

Mathew Dallaire has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since 2014. He is a firefighter and attends the gym 5 days a week. Matt's exercise routine includes strength training followed by cardio after each workout. He was the recipient of a physical performance award at Air Force Basic Training in the summer of 2014. As a public servant, Matt likes the quote: “Fitness is personal, but it has implications on everyone you serve.” He shared that he enjoys attending BTF, as the gym is always neat and clean; and the staff is so personable and professional.
