Club Wide Coat Drive
Total Fitness Clubs are teaming up with One Warm Coat in the month of January to help our local families in need. There will be a bin at each club where you can place your gently used or new coats. Join us to help our community stay warm during the winter months by “Warming Communities… One Warm Coat at a Time”. All coats will be donated to Ferry Street Ministries, Inc in Fall River. As a Thank You – Every person who donates coats will receive a Gift Card for a Free Protein Shake. Open to the general public. Drop Off Deadline: January 31st

TRX Suspension Training with Adriana Ferns Break out from your old routine and join Adriana for this 8-week program. TRX is a form of suspension training used to perform total body workouts with exercises that engage your core, while using your own bodyweight for resistance. Adriana will use TRX to take your resistance training to a new level through functional and dynamic movements, perfect for any age and any fitness level. Fit Club with Dave Parker
Join Dave for this 8-week program that will help you gain strength and endurance. Group training high intensity and conditioning workouts will include a variety of equipment such as: ropes, kettlebells, sleds and more. Fitness gains will be measured by comparing weights and times from previous workouts. Dave will encourage you to push yourself! Know it won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. Mix It Up with Dawn Casella

Tuff Conditioning with Adriana Ferns This 8-week program is designed to prepare participants for obstacle races. Adriana’s workouts will consist of running with body weight exercises including plyometrics, agility and basic strength. Are you in need of some fitness N-Spiration? Join Julie for this 6-week group training that will motivate you to achieve your health and wellness goals. She will challenge you with interval workouts with a variety of equipment to improve your strength and cardiovascular fitness. Enjoy working out with fellow participants to push you to the next level of fitness. Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Old School Body Building with Tammy Kappes
We’re taking it back! Way back old school style! Join Tammy for this 8-week group training that will build lean muscle and increase strength. Workouts will consist of progressive resistance exercises to develop musculature. Equipment will include: weight room machines, barbells, free weights and much more. There will be weekly weigh-ins along with body fat testing on the first and last week of the training. Tammy will give you the knowledge of how to effectively and safely train your body. Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros
Participants will undertake an 10-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off. Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Wendy Carey has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since January of 2016. She’s trained with Adriana Ferns since joining. Since January 2015 Wendy has lost a 116 pounds! Her success has been fueled not only by her workouts but also by eating clean and completing Adriana’s Sugar Shakedown.” I have never felt better! I have more energy and stamina. I no longer am a slave to sugar!” One last piece of advice from Wendy: “It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Be kind to yourself, celebrate your successes, learn from your mistakes and always keep moving forward”. Congratulations Wendy! |
Michelle Bullock joined Swansea Total Fitness in March 2013. She works out five days a week and her favorite class is ZUMBA! One of her biggest successes is completing the Boston Marathon. Michelle’s best advice is to find a workout that you enjoy and designate it as your personal time. She treats her life as a marathon, looking at each 6 miles as a goal and advises to break it up. Michelle has faced some obstacles on her fitness journey. She was losing her flexibility and her spine and hips were decreasing in bone mass. Due to the gym, her spine density has increased by 1% and her hipbone density has increased 4%. Congratulations Michelle! |
Sousan Karwashan has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since August 2016. She joined the gym because she wants to get into great shape before her son’s wedding in July. Since starting training with Laurie Roderick, Sue has gotten so much stronger and leaner. She says, what she likes most about SKTF are the friendly employees. Sue is a real estate agent and a mom of four. Her best advice to those new to exercise is to eat healthy and don’t be afraid to take control of your confidence. Sue has gained a lot of confidence through working out. We are so proud of your success in and we love seeing your smiling face in the gym! Congratulations Sousan! |
Gary Cottrel has been a member of Dartmouth Total Fitness since July of 2013 and Nadine Aerts since January 2014. They train 5 days a week and back training is their favorite. Being consistent, drinking a ton of water, and paying attention to proper nutrition is the main advice the couple can give to anyone who is working towards their goals. Nadine has been working out since the age of 14 and was a competitive bodybuilder throughout her life! “Being fit is a lifestyle” according to Gary and Nadine and it sure shows! The couple enjoys how friendly and motivating the staff and other members are – “We love it here!” Congratulations Gary and Nadine! |
