Pedal To End Cancer

Pedal to End Cancer, formerly Spin for Hope, is a three-hour SPINNING event taking place simultaneously at participating health clubs around New England. 100% of the contributions go directly to the American Cancer Society!

Power of Life Chiropractic Screenings

Power of Life Chiropractic is offering Free 2-minute Stress Screenings of the spine and nervous system. Learn more information on exercise and how the body can get the most out of a workout. Functional Blend with Dawn Casella

This 4-week training blends the Pilates experience with functional training. Beginning with the first 30 minutes in the Pilates studio and finishing with a circuit based workout using a variety of equipment. Intermediate fitness level, Pilates experience not required. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Fit Happens with Dave Parker

If you are someone that likes variety, then this is the group training for you! Join Dave for this H.I.I.T. (High-Intensity Interval Training) workout that will include a variety of equipment. Total Fitness for Women with Erin Ward

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Erin Ward. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Erin will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Samurai Sprint Mud Run Training with Stacia Abdow

Have you always wanted to try an obstacle course race but wasn’t sure how to train for it? Personal Trainer, Stacia Abdow has got you covered with her 6-week training program for the Samurai Mud Run in July. This program will prepare you for obstacles such as balance beam, box jumps, rope climbing and many more. With Stacia’s expertise and motivation, she will get your ready for any obstacle that might get in your way! (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Body Revival – Sugar Crush with Tammy Kappes

Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Workouts will consist of weight, balance and flexibility training with cardio intervals to focus on core strength. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Group Training can be prorated so you can jump in at any time where this is availability.

Women’s Self Defense Clinic with Keith Allan

Join Keith for this 6-week self-defense training that has been taught all over the world. With over 30 years of experience, he will educate you about the anatomy of a street attack, understanding not only the situation but the emotional roller coaster. This 8-week results driven strength training program for men focuses on total body fitness. Intro to Box-Fit with Keith Allen & David Roderick

This 8-week group training teaches you the fundamentals of a boxer’s workout. Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Space is limited, participants must sign up 1 week in advance and pay for 1/2 of the program to reserve a spot. (Friday – min. 3 max. 6 participants) (Saturday – min. 3 max. 8 participants)

This is a 6-week workshop geared towards seniors who are striving to increase mobility and regain strength. Members that Inspire Us


Grace To joined Bristol Total Fitness in March 2012. She likes to come to the gym once a day, and really enjoys doing different combinations of weights and exercises to keep improving her fitness level. Grace says that it helps to put her in a better mood and state of mind. Her favorite fitness quote is, “Consistency is key.” If you follow through with anything, you will be able to accomplish your goals. We would like to congratulate Grace on this accomplishment and we’ll continue to follow her fitness journey!
Adam Belue joined Swansea Total Fitness in February 2011. He started getting serious about his fitness routine in March 2017. Following two knee surgeries and physical therapy, Adam had to relearn how to walk and run. Since then he is back to playing tennis and hitting the gym hard. Adam has taught himself a lot about fitness and tracks his progress which helps him stay motivated. He says there are really no excuses to not come to the gym, you have to stick with it and make your own routine. Adam, thank you for sticking with it. We love seeing you in the gym! Congratulations!
Stephen Evans joined Seekonk Total Fitness since April 2013. He started training with Walter after having surgeries on his wrist and shoulder. Stephen couldn’t have done it without Walters’ help. He never thought that he would be able to wake up early in the morning and go to the gym but has made it part of his routine to get his workout in before the start of his day. His goals are to try to stay consistent and to stay healthy. Stephen, you’re doing a fantastic job! Keep up the great work!
Scott Deterra joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in July 2018. As far as his fitness journey goes, “It never ends!” Scott is an avid spinner and has participated in the American Cancer Society’s Pedal to End Cancer for the past two years. He attributes his success to the DTF Spinning instructors. Scott would like to give a special shout-out to instructors Julie and Carrie, for always pushing him, even if it means Carrie having to turn the knob! He enjoys his time at the gym and wants to note that the “personnel are always polite and courteous.” One fitness tip Scott would like to share is, “Don’t settle on one routine.” Keep up the great work! Congratulations!
