Pedal To End Cancer

Pedal to End Cancer, formerly Spin for Hope, is a three-hour SPINNING event taking place simultaneously at participating health clubs around New England. 100% of the contributions go directly to the American Cancer Society!

This is really just a giant Spin Party for a great cause! With over 78 participants last year, Total Fitness raised over $12,000 for the ACS through this event!

Girls Club with Abby Cabral

Join Abby for this 8-week group training, designed for women who want to challenge themselves through high-intensity weight training and cardio conditioning. You will also receive nutritional guidance and weekly weigh-ins to keep you accountable. This will be a fun and supportive program that will empower and educate you. All fitness levels welcome! (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

March Madness with Susan Gibeau

Join Fitness Coach Sue Gibeau for a 4-week group training program designed to channel your inner athlete! Each participant will learn to organize and execute a well-balanced workout routine focusing on the “5 components of fitness”; cardiovascular and muscle endurance, muscular strength and flexibility all while improving your overall body composition. The group training is open to both men and women and can be modified for MOST fitness levels. So…what do YOU have to GAIN? (min. 3 max. 12 participants)

Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Workouts will consist of weight, balance and flexibility training with cardio intervals to focus on core strength. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Group Training can be prorated so you can jump in at any time where this is availability.

Buns N' Guns with Carol Ann

As they say "Summer bodies are made in the Winter." Join Carol Ann for her 6-week group training that will torch fat and build lean muscle. Gain strength with progressive workouts that will include circuit along with high-intensity interval training. All ages and levels of fitness welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Space is limited, participants must sign up 1 week in advance and pay for 1/2 of the program to reserve a spot. (Friday - min. 3 max. 6 participants) (Saturday - min. 3 max. 8 participants)

Men of Iron with Walter Medeiros

This 8-week strength training program for Men focusing on all fitness aspects to include Cardiovascular, Muscular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Flexibility, and Body Composition. Participants will learn proper form to perform various lifts and gain better body control. Workouts consist of a combination of conventional lifts and calisthenics movements done at a moderate to high intensity to illicit a greater caloric burn, greater hormonal response, and to improve not only overall muscular strength but cardiovascular endurance. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

MEMBERS THAT INSPIRE US

Kyle Robson joined Swansea Total Fitness in 2016. He works out five times a week and his favorite exercise involves bench pressing. Kyle trained for the Elite Powerlifting Federation National Championship last year, placing first in the Masters 242 weight class with a 415lb bench press. He encourages others to devote time to the gym and train hard. Kyle follows the quote, “No pain, No gain”, especially after his double knee replacement a few months ago. He enjoys working out at Swansea Total Fitness because the staff is awesome and always helpful. Keep making strides, Kyle!!
