Total Fitness School Supply Drive

Total Fitness is teaming up with the United Way for a school supplies drive. We will be collecting pencils, pens, notebooks etc. for children in need. There will be a box to put your donations in the gym foyer, or it can be handed to the front desk. See our flyer in the gym for a more detailed list of supplies.

P-Knot Seminar

Fit Happens with Dave Parker

If you are someone that likes variety, then this is the group training for you! Join Dave for this H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training) workout that will include a variety of equipment. City Obstacle Training with Adriana Ferns

Ready to tackle a new and exciting goal this year? This is it! This outdoor 8-week group training will prepare you for the September 2017 City Challenge 5k Urban Obstacle Race. Adriana will simulate obstacle course challenges to test your speed and endurance. The workouts will include: running, jumping, balancing and more along with nutritional guidance. Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

N-Spire Fit with Julie Fostin

X-Training Plus with James SimmonsThis 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. Body Revolution Metabolism Kickstart with Tammy Kappes

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including: cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Space is limited, participants must sign up 1 week in advance and pay for 1/2 of the program to reserve a spot. (Friday – min. 3 max. 6 participants) (Saturday – min. 3 max. 8 participants)

Members that Inspire Us


Matt Wilson joined Bristol Total Fitness in November of 2016 and comes to workout six days a week. “BTF is a great facility that is always expanding and improving; it’s a facility where you are naturally comfortable.” Matt is training to become a police officer, and his motivation to never let his physical fitness hold him back from his dream. He has lost a total of 62 pounds, and continues to eat very healthy and improve his weight training abilities. Matt’s health/fitness tip is “Stay focused and committed. Once you discover results, you will want to keep pushing for more greatness. It comes with time, just never give up.” Congratulations Matt!
Brian Ferreira joined Swansea Total Fitness in December 2016. He has been working with Personal Trainer Jim Nolan four times a week and the work has definitely paid off. Brian is now deadlifting 375 and headed towards 405 pounds. His advice is to set small, attainable goals you can reach along the way of your journey. Brian’s favorite quote is “when you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful”. Brian would like to thank all of the staff of Swansea Total Fitness, but especially Jim. Brian says, “None of my success would be possible without him”. Keep up the hard work Brian! You are doing an amazing job!
Karen Santos joined Seekonk Total Fitness in May 2017. She has always struggled to stay with-in healthy weight. Now with Karen being in her 40’s, she has a teenage son who enjoys playing sports. Being pro-active in her son’s life she put him ahead of herself. So Karen’s ability to exercise and eat properly were dwindling until she joined Tammy’s Body Revolution group training. Working with Tammy, she has learned many fitness and nutrition tips and tricks. All the changes Karen has made, helps encourage her to continue to beat her personal goals to build a stronger, leaner, healthier body. So far she has lost 16lbs and going strong! Congratulations!
David Gay joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in November of 2014. He trains with Master Personal Trainer, Jodi Garie. He joined DTF with specific goals in mind: Lose some weight, increase stamina, and improve the discomfort in his feet and back. At almost 72 years young, David made the commitment to fitness and he has lost and kept off 10 lbs.! “My overall health appears to be substantially better and my quality of life has improved!” His enthusiasm is great and his commitment to his trainer Jodi is amazing – “It’s a pleasure to go to my workouts even though I drive 33 miles to get there!” Now THAT’S dedication! Congratulations David!
