Mommy/Daddy & Me Community Program with Susan Defusco

Join Susan for this 6-week Community Program Open to the Public. The 45-minute parent/child class focuses on music and socialization using songs and musical instruments. The main components are exercise, dance, singing, and stretching.

Ages: Toddlers 18 months to 5-year-old (parent/grandparent/guardian will stay with the child during the class)

Swansea Total Fitness 5th Annual Thanksgiving 5k Run/3k Walk

Join the Total Fitness team this Thanksgiving morning for our 5th Annual Thanksgiving event! All proceeds will go in Memory of Selina Oehmen. Entry fee prior to Nov 23rd is $25, $30 day of the race. The first 200 registered runners/walkers will receive a t-shirt. Learn more about this 5k or you can go directly to the registration page.

TR Flexibility with Adriana Ferns

This 8-week group training includes 30 minutes of TRX suspension training and 30 minutes of mobility work along with deep stretching. Start your day the right way with this training by lengthening and strengthening your muscle to better flexibility. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Meal Prep Like A Trainer with Adriana Ferns

Fall Into Fitness with Dawn Casella
Get back on track after the summer and before the holidays with this 4-week group training for all fitness levels. Totally Fit Kids with Andrea Chase

Kids grades 1-5 will undertake a 6-week group training with exercises and activities that focus on developing stability, mobility, muscular strength, core function, and motor-skill performance. The overall goal is for kids to have fun with fitness and to develop a positive attitude towards regular exercise. Getting kids on the right path toward a long-lasting healthy lifestyle all starts with fundamental movement skills that are learned by participating in any activity that teaches body awareness, balance, and coordination. Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Workouts will consist of weight, balance and flexibility training with cardio intervals to focus on core strength. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Men of Iron with Walter Medeiros

This 8-week results driven strength training program for men focuses on total body fitness. Barbell Club with David Roderick

Barbell Club is an 8-week program designed to teach you barbell based movements with proper form and technique. This training will improve strength, range of motion and overall fitness. Participants will squat and press every week to emphasize technique and strength while improving core stability, balance, and mobility. Whether you are an enthusiast, competitor or somewhere in between all levels are welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Space is limited, participants must sign up 1 week in advance and pay for 1/2 of the program to reserve a spot. (Friday – min. 3 max. 6 participants) (Saturday – min. 3 max. 8 participants)

Members that Inspire Us


Chuck Kelly joined Bristol Total Fitness in June 2014. He trains 4 – 6 days a week for the past six years. Chuck likes a blend of cardio and weightlifting and does Spinning and Group Power to mix up his workouts. He finds his biggest success is sticking to a fitness routine. Chuck recently trained for a Tuff Scrambler and also worked towards Spinning for Cancer. His tips for staying fit and healthy? “Exercise daily for at least one hour; get good sleep; stay motivated; eat healthily, and go holistic!” A quote about his fitness journey: “Sometimes being selfish with your time is important to your success.” Congratulations, Chuck!
Eileen Nugent joined Swansea Total Fitness in March 2018. In 6 months, she has lost 11 pounds, gotten rid of her neck pain, and has toned up her arms. Eileen is in the gym 2-5 days per week. She motivates herself through her fitness journey by saying, “Quit whining, just get it done!”. Eileen’s favorite exercise routines are done with her personal trainer, Tony Quintanilha. She also says that exercise has been a great stress reliever. “Everyone working at SWTF and BTF is very friendly and accommodating. In particular, Tony is knowledgeable and encouraging. The gym management & staff are so helpful!”. Congratulations, Eileen!
Francelina Amaral joined Seekonk Total Fitness in July 2015. She has always been into fitness but was afraid of weightlifting. Now Francelina does 80% weight training and 20% cardio. Her goal is to train harder and do another Spartan race. Francelina’s daughter is what motivates her to come to the gym every day. She wants to show her daughter that it’s okay to have muscles and curves. Francelina believes that girls are brainwashed into thinking that they have to be model thin to fit into society. Her favorite quote is “Strong is the new Skinny!” Congratulations, Francelina!
Keith Watson joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in June 2015. He attends the gym twice a week and trains with Personal Trainer, Jodi Garie. He’s been a client of hers for about 10 years! Because of his training, Keith has better stamina, agility, and balance. A fitness tip he’d like to share is, “Progress is slow but steady if you stick with it!” Keith would like to give a shout out to Jodi for being a pro “She presses me hard but knows my limits and with her exceptional knowledge of various muscle groups etc., has been very helpful in addressing various aches and pains. DTF and Jodi rock!” Congratulations, Keith!
